COYG.

Bongogooner

Nice
Happy with that i think

Sheldon

Holding thumbs

Swifty

Resting many. I think that makes sense in the great scheme of things.

C.B.

Taking a chance with some of those players. Strong bench.

COYG!!!

Chapeau

Those fuckers are using their first 11? Fuck, it’s Haaland vs Holding. I guess this will make our victory even more enjoyable

SirL

or haaland vs gab…

Bongogooner

Easy, Holding has the nicer hair so he wins

Up4GrabsNow!

That’s almost City’s best 11, Pep wants to gain an advantage. Would prefer if Saliba was starting, his strength and pace vs Haaland could be crucial. Holding will need to be at his very best. Good to see Vieira and Trossard getting starts.

Paul

If we do well without Oddgaard and Zinchenko I will be pleasantly surprised. COYG.

Fatgooner

Holding?! 🤦‍♀️

Paul

I’d rather say it as “no Saliba??”

Fatgooner

Fair enough.

It looks like Arteta is going for this so why not start with Saliba?

You pick Holding for Port vale at home, not the toughest game of the season!

EmileSmithWhoa

Holding is a foundational player to our club culture. That culture is the foundation of what and how Arteta is building Arsenal. It feeds all he demands and rewards. No matter what… our fans should respect, applaud and support that and especially Holding as that is who and what we are. No more Xhaka BS please. COYG!

Thierry Bergkamp (Non negotiable)

Wanted our strongest team out there, to get us a convincing win, to build confidence ahead of our league game coming up with them. Seeing our lineup, I’m not as confident now.
I hope we don’t get turned over like utd did to us in 2008, when we rested players for our title challenge

Boywonder

Holding is such a liability in how we want to play

Death by 300,000 Passes

I wanted to see an unchanged XI. This can be the hidden final! And there was enough time to rsst…

And now we will hope that Holding handles Haaland…

UpNorth

Sensible line up for us when Mo and ESR is out of the game. City with a really strong team , think they not only want to win, but give us a mental issue before PL. We’ll most likely lose, but hope we put up a really good fight.

Jeremy

Very convinced we’ll get beat. Just hope its not a spanking. Holding vs Haaland is a complete mismatch. That said, probably the right move with a small squad and bigger fish to fry.

Thierry Bergkamp (non negotiable)

We played on Sunday and have a whole week to rest after tonight. Do they need more rest than that

AFL

I hope it will be interesting to watch. If there was time for Vieira to shine this is it. I have no great problem with our attack as much as I fear our nominal defence might be too slow for the pace of mahrez and co.
Very brave though from MA. And we need more depth in the squad.

D.J.

Happy to see the rotation, prioritizing the league over this. More important plus we have better odds there vs. knock out tournament.

Get the players some rest and also don’t reveal too much that Man City can use as game plan against us in a few weeks!

Kiwamya

Holding to smash Haaland and put him out for the run in?

Master Floda

I honestly wouldn’t mind that. Is that petty? Sure, but who cares!

Paul

Having calmed down after seeing how far this is from our usual starting eleven I think Mik might be being clever because if we lose it’s not our Prem team and if we do well it’s a big statement. Also out front six in this line up are very good….

Granit(e) hard!

I feel jittery, thought we should have played our strongest, given we gave 8 days to recuperate?, this is a very important game, given we have 2 more to go, win this and confidence flows into the other 2, plus we remain in the hunt for a cup, lose it decently, we will still be ok confidence wise, just reset and go again, get roasted?, then confidence is very low , that’s why I think it should have been a strong team….but, I’ll trust in the process, hold on to my chair and enjoy the ride, one thing I know… Read more »

Ealing

MA doesn’t want to give Pep a chance to work out how to unlock our defence. It’s new tactics to keep cards close to chest

The Arsenal

Cant deny the set of balls Arteta has. Expecting alot from Vieira today.

EmileSmithWhoa

What an awesome opportunity and responsibility….for our fans.

Boy Bastin

It’s more changes than I thought Arteta would make. I hope Turner doesn’t have too busier a night coping with Haaland.

Hantal

Any news on smith Rowe?

The Arsenal

Slight thigh strain not thought to be too bad. Left out today as precaution

COYG1001

Keeping some powder dry for the league. Like it.

Ealing

Kiwior for Holding. Holding won’t last the 90 minutes

Vieiraera

Holding is such a liability. Never learns
