Katherine Kuhl and Victoria Pelova make their first starts for the club as Arsenal play against Manchester City Women in tonight’s Conti Cup semi-final at Meadow Park. The teams meet again at the Academy Stadium in the WSL on Saturday lunchtime.
Sabrina D’Angelo starts in goal with Katie McCabe coming in at left-back, Wienroither, Wubben-Moy and Rafaelle complete the back line.
Leah Williamson, Kim Little and Frida Maanum play with Victoria Pelova, Katherine Kuhl and Victoria Pelova. Williamson and Little will form a double pivot at the base of midfield but after that it’s anyone’s guess!
My prediction is that Pelova and Foord will play either side of Maanum upfront with Kuhl playing as a 10 but we will see!

Doesn’t look like your prediction came true Tim, but seems a fascinating tactical change tonight. Williamson dropping deep almost makes it 3 at the back at times – she’s playing long passes, and then galloping up the pitch, even having digs at goal. Certainly new strings to her bow it seems! Weinrother pressing really high too.
