what a weekend for us gooners!! so proud of both teams! sheer determination to get results when everything goes against you on the pitch.
and the icing on the cake, that septuple 🙂 it is better than a quadruple!! LOL

Wow. Wasn’t expecting this. Congratulations Ladies. Impressive.

The victory was unexpected but most welcome. We have suffered since our two main starts picked significant injuries. Well done to our girls for this much needed win

North London and Arsenal Forever 🎶
Fantastic effort from players, staff and fans to “almost” silence Sour Puss Hayes! Gotta single out Kim. She conducted the whole AWFC orchestra yesterday. She is some player. Gets better with age . She’ll be untouchable at 40.
Great day to be a Gooner……in fact great weekend all round.

What a brilliant result.
A big loss to lose Beth and Vivianne for the season but the squad have really stepped up. With the likes of Stina Blackstenius and Frida Maanum, Arsenal have no worries going forward. Victoria Pelova is a proven talent and also they have a real diamond in Katherine Kuhl.
It’s a shame that Kuhl didn’t get to play in the final but there will be many more opportunities for her to do so in the future I am sure.
Congratulations to the whole club.

See! Chelsea are just an ordinary team after all! Why have they held the upper psychological hand over us for so long? They really do not like taking their own medicine and if you attack them hard and fast they cannot cope with it! Kerr only managed one effort on goal all match, ex-Gunner James did next to nothing (who let her go anyway she should have been in red and white!) and Reiten managed about two crosses. That was all they could muster. Funny how the press (not Tim BTW) point out it’s because Kirby and Harder were not… Read more »

Well spoken Peter! But please don’t forget that my recent comments were always optimistic as I don’t feel the loss of Viv and Beth, whilst of course major, can stop us from excelling throughout the rest of the season – including the CL! And Kim’s performance in the Final was sensational, even by her sensational standards! She drove the team to victory, whilst recently criticised Stina was dynamic and an inspired and determinedfront runner, as was Caitlyn Foord. Noelle also had a great game, crucially marking James very well, having been named as a surprise but as it turned out,… Read more »

Let’s hope that Jonas has now worked out how we deal with Viv and Beth being absent for the remainder of the season. Slotting 3 past Berger is an achievement with a full strength team but with those two missing I am still pinching myself!
Stina put in a shift and got some reward this time so let’s also hope that has raised her confidence for the coming games.

Agree and let’s hope so, Peter.

Personally, I have no worries at all about Stina Blackstenius.
