Tim and Marc also discuss whether her career path exposes some inefficiencies in the women’s transfer market with a lot of leagues still not very visible to anything other than a small, localised audience.

Very interesting podcast. So much insight from Marc. Was a victim of watching outlier games for assessing new signings. Never actually watched a Benfica league game.
Also, talking about relationships between clubs and agents, this reminded me of how we signed Caitlin Foord. I remember reading that Joe Montemurro was talking to her agent asking about another player and the conversation led to Foord.
Joe was inquiring for Steph Catley, and Foord was available too, Joe was coach of Steph in A-league Melbourne City, and he wanted signing Caitlin for Melbourne City at that time, but he couldn’t.
