Arsenal’s trip to Goodison Park rearranged

Arsenal’s clash with Everton at Goodison Park has been moved for a second time and will now take place on Sunday 17 September at 4.30pm.

The match had previously been moved to a 5.30pm slot on Saturday but the draw for the Champions League – specifically fixtures involving Newcastle – has forced another reshuffle to accommodate broadcast requirements. The match will be shown by Sky Sports in the UK.

Giving supporters just two weeks’ notice is a bit of a piss take – especially given many will already have organised travel and accommodation – although the club did warn of the possibility of a change when initial TV picks were made back in July.
