Wenger refuses to rule out Bendtner return to Arsenal

Arsene Wenger has refused to rule out Nicklas Bendtner returning to the club at the end of the season, despite the player himself admitting that he has no intention of playing for Arsenal again.

The Danish international had been expected to leave the Emirates on a permanent basis this summer with a number of continental sides sounding him out about a move. Nevertheless, despite waiting until transfer deadline day to assess all his options the 23-year-old opted instead for a loan move to Sunderland for whom he has since led the line.

Speaking to Arsenal Player about his attempts to find the Academy graduate a new club, Wenger insisted that all that mattered was doing right by both Arsenal and the player.

“In football you never say never. You want to do what is right for the player, but firstly for Arsenal. That has to be bigger than any opinion.

“At the moment he is out on loan, I wanted him to go somewhere and play. At the moment everybody is happy. We are happy and he is too because he is doing well. That is the most important thing.”

According to Premier League rules, Bendtner will not be allowed to face Arsenal this Sunday when Steve Bruce’s side travel to the Emirates for a huge relegation six-pointer.

Just kidding. Sort of.

I never thought I’d say it, but right now I think i would take that bigheaded prick and give him 30 mins, he has more in his locker than shitmakh and evidently park was only bought to generate a few quid. Never thought I’d say that… fuckin bendtner

allen erasmus

am from tanzania plz arsen wenger try to buy advernced players aspecial foward arsenal fans in tanzania every day talk abot you wenger use more money to build my arsenal

He is ahead of himself but does well to reach his own standards at times. If he does accomplish his real self in the future which we’ve seen in glimpses and can do in 90 mins of every game, he’ll be big.

Thierry Henry in Juventus anyone?

northerngoon

Completely different players, Henry at Juve was still good even though he played out of position. Bendtner is a whole different story.

Mace

Even when Henry got into Arsenal he sat on the bench for almost a season. Now he’s a God.

Not saying that Bendtner will be exactly the same but, maybe similar.

Look guys, I’m going spell this really clear for everyone. Bendtner fucking sucks. The only reason w still give a shit about this prick is because we were to fucking impotent to buy a real striker this summer. chamakh sucks, wenger hates vela, park……….. Well to be honest I have no idea, why did we buy a guy if hes never going to play? Walcott isnt going to cut it.

Sibhere we are lads, the arsenal, the greatest club the world has ever seen, with one fucking striker. And even our one striker, isn’t even really a centre forward!!!!

[…] weeks break, and suddenly Arsene becomes real chatty. Other things mentioned was the possible return of Bendtner, how Chamberlain ain’t ready, no shit Sherlock, and the Mertesacker being a calming […]

Here's Waldo

I always thought the big Dane was a sexy player, albeit not that good in the art of lovemaking. I sincerely hope this season will turn him into a real Casanova and he will come back next year to score for us.

(This isn’t a fucking metaphor.)

Truegooner

Bye bye Bendtner. For Arsenal to progress, we need to produce, buy, and/or retain Super Quality players. Szcz, RVP, the Ox, Wilshere and maybe a couple of others are the only ones who fit the bill. Everyone else can go.

NorthernGoon

Walcott sucks… ok. Walcott’s biggest problem is staying fit and the fact it takes him a few weeks after coming back to get ring fit again but to say he sucks is frankyl ridiculous.

He plays out of position and still creates most of our goals and if im not wrong is still our second highest goal scorer.

If he was played as a striker with VP in his preferred position then I think we’d see the best out of him and our could be Dennis Bergkamp.
