Walcott scored an away goal at Wigan in 2008-09 and 09-10. One was a 4-1 win, and the other was a forgettable 3-2 loss.

He didn’t score there last year. 10-11 was a 2-2 draw with Bendtner and Arshavin scoring.

Apologies, you sir are correct. He scored in the games on 11.04.09 & 18.04.10. He could make it a hat-trick of years scoring rather. 2 goals in 3 away games against Wigan is still a pretty decent run.

Didn’t get a goal from the game, but Theo had another good ninety minutes. As long as he keeps giving end-product, I don’t think people can have complaints. He made all the right decisions yesterday.

I am not understanding the oddsmakers here. The last 3 seasons this fixture has averaged 4.6 goals per game. Arsenal away matches are averaging 4.3 goals per game. Wigan are conceding at least 2 goals per game at home and Arsenal haven’t had an away shutout for some time. All evidence points to this being a goal fest, so why are the short odds on a 0-1 and 1-2 scoreline? Considering all of this information, the short odds should be a 1-3 Arsenal win.

Still doesn’t beat the non-typo, totally non-ironic “inflamed bone” suffered by Wilshere this fall. Inflamed bone?

I’ll show YOU an inflamed bone.

Haha. Err…

Bunburyist, thought I might see you around some other forums after BBC’s 606. Glad to spot you here [you may remember me as besides/different game]. Cheers mate. Hope all is well.

@besides / 11 cannons: Good seeing you, too. I recall with fondness your intelligence and wit from the good ol’ 606 days. As for me, I’ve turned to erection jokes on Arseblog News, part of a slow but steady march towards second adolescence.

BBC’s 606?

Journo asks ‘Arry whether he will buy midfielders in the January. ‘Arry answered ‘yeah’.

Journo asks ‘Arry whether he’ll bring Lass at WSL. ‘Arry answered ‘yeah. Benzeme too’.

Journo asks Arsene if he’s going to buy players. “No” was Arsene’s answer.

It was revealed later that both of them were drunk.
