According to a very brief report on Dutch website Ad.nl, Arsenal’s 19-year-old midfielder Kyle Ebecilio is attracting interest from both PSV Eindhoven and FC Twente.
Moving to the Gunners from Feyenoord in 2010, the Rotterdam-born Holland youth international was quick making headlines when he was endowed as the Golden Player at the 2011 under-17 European Championship. Nevertheless, despite progressing through the Academy ranks injuries have taken their toll this term restricting him to ten outings spread between the club’s under-21s and NextGen side.
With only three months left on his contract at Arsenal the teenager will be free to move this summer should he not be offered an extension. Speaking about Ebecilio’s future a representative from management company P4P Sports Group has claimed interest not just from teams in his homeland but across the continent.
“There is plenty of interest from the Netherlands, Germany and Belgium. We won’t talk about the names of clubs, but it’s big clubs. Kyle will make a decision this month. ”
As is often the case with the club’s under-21 players a number will likely be moved on this summer. Jeorge Bird, Arseblog News’ youth specialist, claims that those likely to depart include Conor Henderson, Craig Eastmond, James Shea and Sanchez Watt.

Oh well….
WTF! Ebecilo is 19? I thought he was like 17. Oh well another promising lad off…
We better beciling the deal soon…..
*flees the country*
Would have thumbed that up 10 times if I could!!
Well that is not healthy, you might develop tear a thumb cruciate anterior ligament.
Is that report believable? Is jeorge bird also tipping Ebecilio to leave?
Very promising midfielder but at central midfield, he won’t get a chance with Arsenal until 4/5 years and even then we might have plenty of backup. His development will be better suited elsewhere. Sad to see him leave but for his career, he must.
Saw him in both legs of the Next Gen and he was without doubt the weakest player on our side. Of course this may just have been a couple of offdays or he could be carrying an injury but I saw very little to make me think he could get the first team.
I thought watt was good…
i think it’s been obvious for a while that watt, eastmond and shea won’t make the grade with us. best of luck to them forging a good career elsewhere. feel sorry for henderson as he was on the verge of a breakthrough when he got that injury and hope he can find a new club and show what he has got there.
Ebecillo is someone with a lot of promise still, It’s been really unfortunate with his injuries (Same with Jon Toral). I think the best move would be for Arsenal to re sign him for 2 years and send him on loan to his former club Feyenoord.
Or buy strootman and send him the other way in a player plus cash deal..
