After weeks spent locked in a padded room wrestling each other for the right to pick who gets to show what games at the most ridiculous times, Sky and BT Sport have finally made their TV selections for the first third of the new Premier League season.
The Gunners visit to Craven Cottage on the second weekend of the season marks the club’s debut on BT Sport, while as expected the first North London derby of 2013/14 gets the Sky Sports treatment having been put back a day to Sunday, 1 September.
In total Arsene Wenger’s men feature eight times on the box up until December, although that number will be supplemented by Champions League fixtures (should we qualify from the preliminary stages) and any mouthwatering COC games.

A full run down of all the Premier League fixtures to be shown up to the beginning of December can be found here.
That’s actually Fulham v Arsenal 24 Aug, for all you Season Ticket holders.
Cheers, corrected.
What about the villa game on the 17th?
3pm Saturday kick-off as originally planned. Not being broadcast by English TV…
Cheers
Well they may all be on at stupid o clock, but i am quite grateful every premier league game is shown live over here in Aus.
interestingly, the best live coverage (as far as number of games broadcast) I’ve seen was over in the Middle East. There’s a station based in Qatar or the Emirates that shows all the games, all you have to do is survive the Arabic commentary (they’re even more ridiculous than Spanish commentators).
I live in Cambodia, cant remember the last time I missed a match, every game is on t.v out here with English commentary too! just means getting up at stupid times now and again
from what i understand skysports has changed the TV rights so only one 3pm game can be showed at a time. So no matter where in the world you are, they have to follow skysports’ changed rights. Please correct me if i am wrong – but i know for a fact that here in Norway they have changed it to follow skysports. It is ridiculous to only show one game when they can show 3 (as they have previously done here).
The kicker is; that i can watch less arsenal matches and pay more than last year. Lucky me
Looking forward to the game against the sp*ds – whatever our transfer business, it will be completed by then. With any luck, we’ll give them a proper hiding. (Keeping optimistic here folks!) Also looking forward to the game against the orcs. I want this to be the season they get relegated, I want them to suffer, to have the worst possible season imaginable. tony pubic might be gone, but the evil remains; the shittania needs to be burnt down to the ground this season. Don’t usually wish relegation on any team, but they’ve strutted their bullying, horrific-tackling style in the… Read more »
Sp*ds will be bankrupt by then, requiring a ‘Bale out’ from RM.
As for the orcs, I admit the pleasure of seeing them go down next year will be significantly enhanced by having that useless blowhard Hughes take over where ‘Dogs Bum with a Baseball Cap On’ left off.
Mark Hughes took over the Orcs, his style is no different from that of Sam Allardice.
Hey, I wanna travel from Poland to see Arsenal live for the very first time on November 23rd, game against Southampton. When can I expect the exact date and time of the game to be confirmed? It’s quite important to me and I can’t buy my flight ticket etc. earlier not to be suprised with a change.
It hasn’t been selected for TV so it’ll probably go ahead as planned. That being said the official website does make clear ‘all fixtures are subject to change’…
tickets go on sale 3 months prior if i am not wrong, be careful brother. obviously were gonna win every cup so some games will be changed for those games re-arranged. make sure you figure out wheter or not your game is applicable for change… chur
There are no cup-games planned on this weekend so it should be all okay. Thanks for your help:)
Now I hope to score a ticket and then have one of the best experiences of my life!
We should top the table by the man u game. Sweet
For games not broadcasted on English tv. Stream them for free online. I live in usa and games I am unable to view on fox soccer, fox soccer plus or espn, I stream for free. I can provide links if Mr blog is cool with it. U will never miss another game in ur Arsenal life.
That *might* change, tho. I’m in Norway, and previous seasons we’ve had 3 games at 3pm Saturdays, with the rest of them available for streaming (paid service, HD, great stuff). However, for some reason I have absolutely no understanding with, they are now only allowed to air 1 game at 3pm on TV, and I don’t think they can air the others on the streaming service either. I don’t think our broadcaster, Norwegian TV2, can choose which 3pm game to air! So to your point, not even sure all the games are aired *anywhere*. Which totally sucks. I have missed… Read more »
I think fofo is referring to illegal sites that stream games for free. not in HD, and the stream is usually rather dodgy. there are a few good sites, but you have to wade through the crapertizing for a while before actually seeing the match.
nbc is carrying every epl game this season for free on tv or streaming in the US.
One of the biggest streamers (The one i watched every single game, with pretty good quality on last season), is unfortunately in the process of being court ordered to stop it.
Think its based in Sweden. And i’m one very sad panda….
What a rigmarole the whole this has been, but quite exciting.
I’ll be hopping across the world (from New Zealand) for my very first Arsenal game this season. Unfortunately, due to timing, I had to book plane tickets long before the schedule was released, so I couldn’t pick and choose but will get to see the boys at Fulham (if only I had booked my tickets for the next weekend), and hopefully a Champions League qualifier if it fits. Unbelievably excited. The whole trip’s costing me about $15,000, so £62 doesn’t really sound too bad from my end 😛
The BT schedule is quite underwhelming. Well, if it’s free, I guess I can’t complain… I was looking forward to switching from Sky Boradband to BT and not give M. Murdoch any money. Now, I am not so sure anymore..
Bloggs, can you please do something about the panel thing that displays other stories at the bottom of the page. It’s quite annoying to be honest.
You can close it by clicking in the far bottom right corner and selecting ‘close’. I kinda like it, personally.
Yes, and we’ll be adding a close permanently button for those who don’t like it.
Glad to hear it. Thanks Blogs.
I know you can close it that way. I do every time.
Thank you Bloggs for listenning to your readers feedback 🙂
When are we going to sign someone?
And no Yaya Sanogo doesnt count.
Setanta sports one of only a few advantages of living in Ireland are showing Arsenal six times up till December, they’re also showing all four Asian games.
Will Irish satellite TV be able to get BT sport?
@arYse it’s saying on joe.ie that Setanta will take on BT sports and ESPN games (if your a subscriber)
Yes, Setanta have done a deal with BT
@Fofo. If you can provide good links please do. I can never seem to get a good one that doesnt freeze every five seconds. I know for a fact that Blogs is cool with it as he told me only this very morning, ( ahem .. cough..splutter.. )

I prefer 30 minute highlight packages these days. I mean seeing players passing the ball sideways or backwards half the time loses its allure eventually 🙂
Glad to say almost every single arsenal game is broadcasted in south africa.. Last season i remember only a few cup games not being broadcasted but caught every single minute of our premier league campaign.. And looking forward to the season to come.!! COYG!!
With each passing season, we become less and less of a draw.
Not really surprising is it ? I see we don’t even feature on the – preliminary – Sky EPL advert.
Still all that will doubtless change when we undergo that great ‘Gazidis like transformation’ into Bayern Munich.
Until then, all hold your breath.
It seems BT own the 12:45 kick-offs, so hopefully this means less 12:45 kick-offs which Sky seemed to love putting big games on.
On another note, just fuck off bendtner
The link is http://www.ilemi.me it provides links for all top games around the world for free. They also stream real good. As long as you have good internet.
wwe.ilemi.me
http://www.ilemi.me
Sometimes changes by itself to http://www.ilemi.pe or http://www.ilemi.se. but its all same link. You can even stream from your android phones. I do thay when on a road trip (need 4G for phone)
Cheers Fofo. Will check that out.
It is so annoying to pay a premium with Sky and the annoying government get their noses involved and now to follow Arsenal, I have to pay more. (I know BT sports is “free”, but I would have to get there broadband and its more expensive!) And the government say its to increase competition, well its making me pay more!!!!
…..And even after paying every penny possible, I still left to stream games, is I want to see all the games live. ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGH
Does anyone know when/if the American televised fixtures will be released?

Great post but I was wondering if you could write a litte more on this topic?
I’d be very grateful if you could elaborate a little bit further. Thanks!
