1- eye-watering Arsenal of immeasurable quality
1-eye-watering Ramsey of immeasurable quality
1- eye-watering Arsene of immeasurable quality
1- ugly Grant holt
re-watched the match today and i was fucking crying, it was fucking poetry in motion.
Rambo’s run along the left flank in the 2nd half was ridiculous. A couple of roll-overs and the old pirouette followed by the back heel. This guy is so confident he’s toying with’em now. Fucking cracker. Stay away Real Madrid. He’s ours!
Need a device to view Manure’s league position without scrolling down, any suggestions?
A telescope.
Wait until next season… by clicking on the Championship league standings you just might be able to view ManUre at first sight, in the Top 6.
Sorry 2013-2014 = 2003-2004, Unless Arsenal, Aston Villa and Chelsea get relegated this season I think the alphabet will defeat that. Manure will be in 11th or 12th place even before the first game kicks off, and it can only get worse from then on in.
I love this blog. I love Arsenal FC and I LOVE that arsenal are looking down table and saying: ” 2 points clear” instead of “2 points from 1st place”!
Great Numbers today 7am. And you’re right about our 4 goals – things of genuine beauty. Beautifully crafted, beautifully executed. The 3 assists were stunning too. Ramsey’s cushioned cut-back for Özil was almost just as brilliant for me as Giroud’s perfect cross and his flick for Jack. The level of football being played by this team when we hit our groove is quite magical. There will be times when we don’t hit the right gear (for periods against Norwich we didn’t really click) but what’s encouraging is that we seem to be able to get the right result anyway. Just… Read more »
1 – Blonde Samurai that played with confidence in the final 15 minutes.
Actually has me convinced we don’t need to sign a striker anymore.. Bendtner looks like a great back up option, with Podolski and Walcott as third and fourth… I think Arsene Wenger is right only purchases that will improve the squad
Yeah NB23 was impressive. He’s actually better with his feet than giroud. Despite his huge frame he can actually pull off some nice skill, close control also noticed good movement from him and he had a confidence about him that showed whenever he had the ball e… Looks like Arsene got it right again holding onto him. Decent back up.
I doubt you’ve even watched our recent games… Giroud’s magical flicks and one-touches have been all there right from the first EPL game
There’s a little piece of stats that probably went unnoticed but not insignificant – our goals were scored in the 18, 58, 83 and 88 min, all bearing the digit 8 in the timing. As you know, the number 8 is auspicious and synonymous with prosperity in geomancy. The signs are there that the 5 elements of Emirates are eventually aligned and in harmony, getting very close to the level last seen at Highbury in 1997-8 and 2001-4. These augur well for Arsenal FC and the team just need to stay grounded, united and consistent and trust the guidance and… Read more »
Do you also believe in astrology, graphology and copper bangles for rheumatism?
That’s sarcasm… right?
Interesting as your comments are synonymous with total BS. The reason we’re playing well is because…we’re playing well. It also helps that we have a great team ethic, great players in top form and desire. The stars have FA to do with it as well in case that was your next point.

There isnt enough tissue there
Grant Holt no longer plays for Norwich. He is however still an incredibly ugly human being
i heard he ate his family and now lives alone, can anyone confirm this?
372- number of times i had to watch the first goal before passing out with joy
It still irks me that we can’t keep a clean sheet. However I am much more confident about our defending now. The guys now know the perfect blend of when to press and when to stand off. Arsenal are letting opponents have more shots because they are mostly just long shots. We are CONFIDENT when defending now. I feel relaxed now when other teams are shooting and missing. The guys always look like they can step up a gear or two. Bar the first 30 minutes vs Napoli, I think we have only operated at around 80% of our potential… Read more »
1 – times Norwich was spelt Norwish in this article – see if you can spot it!
You’ve ruined this year’s Arseblog Christmas Quiz now.
Wilshere’s flick to Giroud was top top quality!
And Giroud is the king of flicks! Very unselfish.
10 – Physio appointments John Ruddy will need to get his arms pasted back on following the smashing they took. Is it just me or was anyone else gobsmacked by the velocity on those arsenal cannons being unleashed all match? You don’t normally see that amount of venomous strikes.
Great game great goals. But let’s not forget the awesome tackles at the back from gibbo and kos. Especially that tackle of immeasurable quality where Gibbs catches up to the winger and wins the ball.
I enjoyed the double and triple-tag team tackling. We ganged up on their guys a few times and our second or even third guy snuck up and took the ball away while they were shielding the ball from our first guy. I wonder if that is some sort of tactic or whether we have always done this but I didn’t notice until this weekend?
Gibbs was definitely outstanding
That’s a very biased comparison. And that is what I loved about Arseblog!
When a team is well oiled, you can’t tell who the best player is. That performance of immeasurable quality shows most of the boys are equal best. Even a coach as good as Klopp admits that his very good player(Aubameyang) is a ‘Wenger player’. Being quality is becoming synonymous to being Arsenal.
Pretty much my point in another article. If the defender is facing Arteta, Ramsey, Wilshire, Cazorla, Ozil, and Giroud, who the hell does he try to tackle to stop us scoring?
Giroud is good as R.V.P and Aaron Ramsey is better than Bale
Aaron Ramsey is better than Bale and RVP together, and Giroud is the icing on the cake.
Give me a home
where the Gunners can roam
and united are ground into shit.
Where Mesut’s aflame.
Jack and Aarons the same.
And Van Pursey’s in tears, fucking twit!!
2 Eye watering tackles of immeasurable quality by Koz
1. Eye watering block of immeasurable quality by Per.
Lols. Love this Arsenal
Wenger has obviously got his mojo back.
People keep saying we are yet to play big teams but I say the big teams are yet to play us
In 55 years of watching Arsenal I’ve never seen a better goal than Jack’s.
As I predicted Bendtner has decided to try and make the most of his new chance so with Theo, Poldi, Yaya and Chuba we don’t need another striker. We just need a 4th centre half. Tompkins of West Ham is the guy I’d like to see. Reliable, unspectacular, the right age and perhaps he’d like a chance at a big club.
Team goal? Yes. But Bergkamp’s goal against Newcastle is top, top, top quality.
I’ll take them both!
The numbers show how much Norwich have improved since last season. They have good reason not to be too down-hearted after losing 4-1 to four exceptional goals, and with Howson’s excellent strike after Mertesacker’s hurried mis-clearance. And it puts a superb overall Arsenal performance into an even better perspective.
People are saying we are yet to play the big teams? There is no bigger team!
We’re top of the table, everyone is looking to us as the big game. Pardon my french, but I fucking love it. C’mon you gooners!
