It’s nice to see that Theo starts, should give us a boost on the right wing. I loved how Jack and Rambo played there when they had to, but we need someone with real speed there (like Theo, Gnabry or the Ox), especially playing away from home.

I’m not a fan of giroud but i like him as an important player in arsenal, also i don’t critisize him because I know he is doing his very best for the club considering his available qualities, But truth be told- considering the kinda football we play at arsenal, Giroud is just too slow to make it work perfectly, I watch many of the through balls the keeper beats him to it or a defender puts a last ditch tackle, many of those would and should have resulted to goals if we had someone like poldi or theo been played… Read more »
6ft something, 80+kilos lumberjack who has a knack of scoring goals from crosses fizzed in high or low; has great balance and strength vs defenders; continually improves on a decent balance between selfish and provider;
he may be slow in a foot race but has quicker reactions than Theo in the opposition area. Not so long ago we were (accused of) trying to walk the ball in the net, I think Giroud balances out the dynamic of the team or else we would dance around the box and not put the ‘ball in the onion sack’.
I understand your girlfriend left you this morning but you shouldn’t take it out on Giroud just because he is handsome. He had nothing to do with her asking you to workout from time to time to cut down that pot belly. Calm down, hit the Gym and support the team

What’s happened to Gibbs is he injured
Monreal is fitter, thats about it, wouldnt be surprised to see gibbs on at 70 if were ahead
Gibbs’ form has dipped very slightly for me and whenever Monreal has come on recently he’s looked sharp and hungry, perfect time to give him a chance and Gibbs a well deserved rest.
Switch Giroud for Park. Otherwise a solid line-up.
Soon as Poldi is back starting we’ll have natural balance on the left. Arteta and Wilshere holding. Walcott Ozil Poldi behind Giroud. And a bench with Flamini Ramsey Chamberlain Cazorla Rosicky Bendtner. IMMENSE

Gibbs played Sunday and Wednesday. Now it’s Monreal’s turn. Not surprising to me. Lets hope Walcott rips Clichy a new one.

Seens extremely dangerous to leave Jenkinson off the bench, given that Sagna’s coming off a muscular thing, which could easily reoccur during the match. Leaving Gibbs out is just confusing, given his form of late and how much Wenger loves to thrown on ALL THE FULLBACKS near the end of a match. We may see Vermaelen on in that role later on, pushing Monreal up the pitch, but still, yes, odd selections.
Only one defender on the bench is quite worrying. I guess Flam can always play RB and let Sagna go center.
We don’t have to win this to win the title. We just need to continue doing the things we’ve been doing well. That’s mainly defending like pros. We are capable of scoring at any time and we’ll win many more this season. COYMFG
