What i saw is two players failing to perform the primary functions of the position. Yes Ox made a few great runs but not from central midfield but from more advanced positions. Watch his runs again and you will see on all occasions he is our most advanced player.

His defensive game?! Are you serious, we had our lowest possession stats for years. Our attacking game seriously suffered because we didn’t have the ball. We don’t press high enough up the pitch.

Wenger doesn’t like to suit his game to his opponents. Maureen started with 2 DM’s and decided to counter attack. It worked very well for Liverpool too. You can’t play Chelsea and Bayern with Arteta as your most defensive player and expect to win, it is very impossible.
