Let’s do it!
Now that is one experienced team!
All dudes in their late 20s – early 30s
‘cept for Sir chezny
Good enough to give Allardyce’s orcs some spanking….COME ON YOU REDS!
That’s a very good line up , I an expecting lots of goals with Tomas scoring a stunner
Eager to see Kim in action!!! COYG!!!
Four centre backs good aerial defence and offensive for arsenal. Against long ball tactics.
Rosicky – good news.
Vermaelen at left back makes me think Kos has been rushed back. Hope he makes it through the game. UTA!
hes got two umlauts!
Eager to see Kim in action. COYG!!!
I guarantee you that Kallstrom will score tonight. If he did not I will offer you my arm – cut it where you like.
Flamini…is that you?
so when can i come and get the arm
Can’t wait to see Kallstrom’s impact tonight. COYG, Kick ’em orcs.
4th place here we come
Interesting starting eleven,i expect a physical game from West Ham come on Arsenal we have to start winning in the league again.
Come on you Gunners..! No matter how you play today..
Just go out there and win 🙂
Good enough to dispatch big Sam’s thugs to oblivion. COYFG!
Down to the bare bones
Would prefer Jenks at rb.Playing all 4 of our cb’s in one game makes me a bit nervous.Let’s hope the ball spends the night up the other end.
Are we actually seeing wenger choosing his team based on the oppositions threat?! Four centre backs to defend long balls and an all round more physical look to the side…….interesting
Thought he was gona start with Fabianski ? He sure is in a better form than Schezney.
Looks like the starting XI will have to do the job today. The bench looks woefully short (what with Ox and Ramsey still in recovery). COYG!
Where has gnabry been!? He’s proven himself valuable and his pace is almost as deadly as walcotts!
He’s still injured (knee injury), http://www.physioroom.com/news/english_premier_league/epl_injury_table.php
anticipated to return this weekend along with Monreal and Ozil
Man that is old. Fabianski for Szcz would have taken the avg. age to 30!
We call it experienced, not old 😉
Yeah, well said!!
Sagna is a full back not centre back 🙂 just saying
Hmmm figured we could have used Jenk’s energy in this game. Sagna must be knackered..how he keeps going even after 2 broken legs amazes me
Cazorla and Giroud notwithstanding, it looks like a team full of players that don’t shy away from a tackle.
We say his name wrong, we say his name wrong, Kiiiiiiim Kallstrom, we say his name wrong!
Källström works better against good opposition who press with a high line when he can put through those long sweeping crosses (if someone would make the runs) behind their back for. He’s not really someone who can create a lot when the opposition park the bus. He’s got a good shot though, should be opportunities to smash a couple from outside the box in a game like this. COYG!
*back four
Gibbs injured for the first time in days
It’s hard not to think that he’s lost it. Verm at full back against 2 wingers, our best players on Sat Ox, Aaron, Gibbs all rested. No pace, little width, oh dear.
It’s not like he wants or chooses to rest those players.
What happened to Gnabry?
Must have missed the news that Gibbs is injured.
Pretty happy with that. Arteta must be knackered, I’d be happy if he just sits in front of the back 4 (we’re likely to dominate possession anyway) and lets Kallstrom go up and down. We might not have the paciest starting lineup, but we’re going to have them boxed in and something or the other is going to come off. And Poldi’s numbers against West Ham are quite good, looking forward to something from him today.
Mert needs a breather. Hopefully soon. He’s been like a machine. That penalty against Wigan shows how tired (both physically and mentally) he is.
and the goal shows how mentally strong he is to respond like that
If champ manager 97/98 was anything to go on, kallstrom will go on to be arsenals most successful player of all time
Come on you Gunners!
Where’s gnabry been?!
I’m worried about Gibbs, is he ok? Best outfield player for me vs Wigan.
Heard man city could be banned from transfers and champions league??? FFP investigation against them has began.
Can’t wait to see Kimstrom play today….let’s go gunner!
Its funny how the same fans that were moaning about Wenger’s team selection being very predictable, and accusing him of putting out the same team regardless of the opposition, are now complaining that he’s playing all our CBs in one game at the expense of playing Jenks. I think its more due to injuries to Gibbs and Nacho, but also could be Le Boss know Sam’s tactics to be hoof puff therefore the need for height at the back. Either way its a positive development and for once we have a team with so called grit in every position. UTA!
COYG!! Hoping a win will scare the shit out of Everton & for Palace to get a result tomorrow night!
Too much FIFA spoiled their brains.
No Matter who arsene choose to play, win loose or draw, He will get criticized.
You’re going down ….. FAT SAM
Would take any kind of win tonight
Giroud with his first miss of the game, not the last too i reckon and he wants to “fire” us where??
So then heroldgoon, that second goal, what did you make of that one?
1 in a million even he knows it. but kudos nonetheless
Giroud is awful. He belongs to Fulhams and Aston Villas (no disrespect) and not a top 4 club!
Don’t you feel a bit silly now heroldgoon? 😉
no……fact is he still missed 2 good chancez and getting a goal doesnt change that.
He scored a sublime goal that basically won the game for us mate. Just enjoy the goal, enjoy the win, and you can bash on Giroud when he does cock up. But today? Nah. He had a good game.
Never good enough, is it?
Feels like we saw a real Jekyll and Hyde from Giroud tonight. Absolute shocker with the first miss but then the control and goal were phenomenal. Happy for him, and Poldi too!
