Alexis does not need a rest. After each match he relaxes with a ten mile run followed by a two mile sprint. Then he gets serious and has a workout.

Would have preferred Rosicky and Cazorla in midfield with their Coq. With Campbell or Walcott playing instead of Chambers. Big game to put a player in a position he’s never played before.

I think Chambers’ contribution was minimal in midfield. He should be subbed off for Theo, moving Ox to CM and Coq to DM.

Left for me TW14 should have started in place of OX.. Atleast he’s experience infront of goal will certainly ease d pressure on Alexis.
Do think chambers can do well at centre mid, he’s got plenty of running in him, and he reads the game well enough, gets forward so could definately be interesting. As for coquelin I think.he is a tad underated, he’s obviously never going to be a world beater but I think he has a part to play, he reminds me a bit of Edu and Parlour, in the way that they aren’t the most brilliant midfielders in the world and never will be but they had a job and did it. That was Sczeney’s fault all the way. What was he doing leaving his line when there were 2 covering defenders? He makes some head scratching decisions at times
I’m amazed how people have their heads in the sand over per. Hes got to anticipate the danger, how often are we told how good he is because hes played over a 100 times for Germany. Hes seen the gk come so race back to cover. The fact he is too slow to then get his foot to it is comical
All 3 had their fault on that goal. The biggest of which was Szczesny’s. He shouldn’t have left his line. Koscielny should have yelled “STAY”. Per deserves the least blame

This is embarrassing. In all the decades that I have supported my beloved Gunners, I have never seen such a poor first eleven start a game. Please Arsene! You’ve got a whole month to sort this woeful defence out and that includes the Goalkeeper as well. This is starting to hurt, badly!!!

Has absolutely nothing to go with tracking back by anyone. It all errors that will get you benched on a school team. These are not in any way on the midfield or the tactics. All on individual school boy errors by “professional footballers”. A few people need to get benched for this

Girouds massive mistake cost us today with welbeck being out but aw lack of use of podolski has led to a thoroughly professional player at his wits end walk out in training
You might want to check out the article about why Podolski wasn’t on the team sheet today, before you go blaming Wenger for it.
Issue is, we have no depth to “punish” the errors do we? Sigh, absolutely shocking defending!
