Here’s a few more snaps of Arsenal’s new home kit for the 2015/16 season and a couple from the launch at the Emirates Stadium last night.
For what it’s worth, Hector Bellerin likes that the club resisted the temptation to go neon green: “The new home kit looks good. The tradition of red and white is very important to the club and players and PUMA has done a great job of coming up with a new design that combines our traditions with a modern look.”
Oh…and apparently you can pre-order the new kit now via the official Arsenal online store.
Love Thierry.
Can we get excited about the kit?
TH14 with some great banter last night. The best quotes from him was when he asked welbeck on his signing, “you signed for arsenal last summer, i don’t know from which club” got to always love him. Our all-time legend!
Well, there’s always next year’s kit to look forward to.
Unstoppable that mighty ducks formation!
Classy kit for a classy club.
That collar… why…
Never liked Puma kits doubt I ever will but im just loving the money it makes the club.. 😀
What’s the difference between the player performance shirt for £100 and the regular one for £55? (please don’t say £45)
You’ll feel fat in the player performance shirt…it’s a skintight fit.
The fan version is a little more forgiving on the portlier gentleman.
…
…
…FORTY FIVE POUNDS HAHAHAHAHA
Don’t feel bad. To order one over here in Canada, it’s roughly $115 CAD + shipping and duty charges for the regular shirt. Player’s shirt? $200ish.
Although to be fair, the import duty only gets charged if your parcel is in the 2% to 3% of parcels that actually are examined. I’ve order from Arsenal Direct several times, both on my own and through ArseCan group orders, and only had to pay duty once. There are at least two places in Canada from whom you can order the new kit without having to worry about duty. If you live in Vancouver or Toronto, you don’t have to pay shipping either if you go to the store and pick it up, although I’m not sure whether either… Read more »
I always find mine on eBay. Get better deals there. Waiting to see who we sign this summer before buying the new home kit.
Which is about 20 kilograms?
100£ one is body tight (like a douchebag would wear at the gym because he believes it will make him lift weights like a strongman)
chyea.. cause people who go to the gym and wear gym appropriate clothing are such total douchebags. I’m a far more superior being with my lack of fitness.
Yeah compression tech is just a marketing myth, that’s why they make you wear compression socks when you go into hospital for surgery…
£44 and 100p.
The player ones probably have some high tech compression features that actually help relieve fatigue and such…according to the sports scientists.
My 2 cents.
I think there’s actual technology involved. Stains lesser, airs sweat out better, much lighter, something. Not f**kin’ 45 pounds worth, but still.
General red and white-ry aside, I’m keen to hear what Gooners think of the kit.
Green thumb me for yay, red thumb me for nay.
It’s a green one for me—looks classy 🙂
Need a yellow thumb for “meh”. I think it looks okay, but I’m not a fan of the button or the collar.
Hmm doesn’t look like a big deal design to me.
Actually I’m bored of this red-white colours. They are boring! Period!
Why can’t we go radically different? Both away kits seem more lively kits to me and can inspire…. wins
I think I asked for this. .. I’m going to break the thumbs-down record
Interesting that there are no pics of Theo in the new kit….
not really…
There are also no pictures of Ramsey, Jack, Per, Koscielny, Gibbs, Coq…
It doesn’t mean they’re all leaving.
I beg your pardon. There is a Ramsey one, but still, my point remains.
Either that or Theo, Jack, Per, Kos, Gibbo, and Coq have all been sold to pay for Cech, Pogba, Messi, Pele, Maradona, and Gordie Banks.
another year, another kit. Don’t like the white underarm patch, otherwise it’s unexciting but ok. Think I preferred last year’s.
Apart from the Puma logo, which I like actually, I think Nike’s ones were generally slightly preferable.
Nothing is as good as the classic sponsor-free cotton shirt though.
Haha, what the hell is going in the kit launch photos with lighting bolts? Looks absolutely ridiculous.
Am I by the way the only person who’s more interested in away kits? We all know what the home kit is anyways, but the away kits offers a bit more variation.
Nice, but I’m a poor student so I’ll keep my 14/15 one for another year. Although it’d be interesting to see what our away kit looks like.
OMG!!!!!! red and white, how cool… I didn’t see that one coming
Any one know where I get the 14/15 kit at at a discount?
Wife barely follows football but knows how important it is to me and has been asking for a shirt couple for couple of seasons now – ever since I took her to the Emirates for an FA Cup game.
I thought there was some kind of new directive bought in that meant a football club could not bring out a new strip every year. My understanding was that new strip launches were only permitted every 2 seasons. I do Like it however, but not sure how I’d feel if I kitted my kids out with the new puma strip last July only for it to be obselete less than a year later. My daughter too young just yet, just making the point that if you had a couple of young Gooners to look after who badly wanted the new… Read more »
I like this new shirt. Reminds me of the one we had in 1991.
I’ve actually preferred both puma shirts to pretty much any of the Nike ones we had before. The only Nike kits I really liked were 1997-98 and 2010-11.
I don’t like the skin tight look but the actual Puma designs are much more sophisticated and interesting in my opinion.
I actually like the kit. more unique than the first one from puma. classic and elegant. im just a bit um… about the the but then again it gives a more classical look. pretty sure this shirt gonna bring us the silverware!
I would actually love it very much to see giroud score a goal like how its shown in the picture
Now our kits look like ManU minus the black.
Yuck!
Well… at least there’s still the away kit and cup kit.
Not a fan of the training tops that they had on just before the kit reveal. They looked like something ManUre might wear. The kit itself is nice though, Puma have done good work so far.
Given that the collar extends almost to the fly emirates lettering, where will they position the champions league/fa cup final embroidery?
Not many “old dudes” can boast of a Bronze statue of them standing outside the stadium they are standing in! 😉
Just seen another photo of the shirt from the back. It has a white tail that shows if you don’t tuck it into your shorts/troosers. Looks a bit daft and duck like really.
How about PUMA organise a competition and just choose the winner. To be honest most of the fake shirts designed by fans look better than the official kits.
