He is one of the best defenders in the world. But the media types don’t sing his praises because it will expose the follies in their ways. They all but wrote him off because he was not a big name and he didn’t cost 30m when Arsene brought him to arsenal. By admitting that Koscielny is world class is admitting they were wrong
I don’t know what Bosscienly has to do to get in the pfa team of the year. He keeps getting overlooked despite being the most consistent cb(alongside Terry) over the last 2-3 seasons.
The most frustrating part of it all is how the likes of cahill, Lovren and Sahko are rated over him.
Its madness.
After last season what right minded football (not Liverpool) fan would rate Lovren and Sakho over Bosscielny?

I love this bloke. He is an immense player with a big desire to succeed in Arsenal and he’s got the coolest song in the world! Favourite player in this current team which is so full of sublime players!

According to me he is in the top 5 center backs in the world. Massively underrated by the media as well as a section of fans.
Last year Cazorla said that arsenal had 3 world class players and he named Koscielny one of them, that itself speaks volumes.

When we beat Barca 2-1 at home, he played out of his skin. I knew we were onto something after that performance. May he keep his pockets large.
Saying he’s rock solid does a disservice to him. He’s way too mobile to be called a rock. I think he doesn’t get credit from British pundits mainly because they just don’t understand a CB playstyle that doesn’t involve standing there like a big lump.
Because the only stats they understand are tackles and goals. Sometimes I think in that order.
Kos’s ball-control skill is very similar to Bergkamp’s!
