Not half bad.

The quality of his vision and the speed at which his footballing brain operates makes you wonder it would be humanly impossible for any forward to work it out and make best use of his passes, let alone, with all due respect, our more or less moderate forwards.

You’re very kind Turkis gooner.
I just saw Alan Shearer say something that confirms he is a Xenophobic, myopic fool. At the end of this game he says, Olivier Giroud should be getting at least 25 goals with Ozil in the team. This, in a game that the media darling and the great Englishman Feo shat himself giving a masterclass in idiotic striker play. My word, how it must boil a player’s blood to have your vision, skill and touch wasted this way. Every pass from Ozil screamed, “go on then, just hit it. No no, you don’t need to do anything FEO, just help it along. This cake is ready, simply open your mouth FEO, there’s nothing else for you to do.”

Thumb me down, but its embarrassing. Blogs held back in his blog post today, cos he often gets a lot of heat for criticizing the darling of the crowd FEO, but it really is embarrassing. What a fluke of a player.

And has anyone noticed, he does not keep running when he has a clear run at the goal anymore? Stops and starts fannying about. I remember days of that wind-up merchant Cesc almost crying when Lord Bendtner and other excuses for strikers that we had would contrive to miss his platter laid assists (he used to be quite good, let’s not forget). I know, he is not a good person to bring up any more, but only Eduardo and for a while that other dutch wanker did anything worthy with the quality of passes he provided. Ozil will be more patient and tolerant than barca DNA mofos I hope.
To end on a positive note, one change I have seen is that Walcott appears stronger in resisting shoulder to shoulder challenges of late.

What annoys me most is the fact Mesut’s been doing this for years and people were quick to write him off. He had a difficult patch prior to his injury, but he hasn’t looked back since. Players like this don’t come around very often, and I for one love watching him in the famous red and white.

Somebody the other day wrote that we should use Özil as a verb so that shop assistants could ask ” how may I Özil you? I think there are lots of possibilities for new words in our team like -to Feo (verb meaning to miss a deliciously served up opportunity) but rtuly Özil is a superlative as in: good, better, Özil

Absolutely fabulous stuff from our Wizard of Oz! Hope he retires a legend at The Arsenal.

Mesut deserves every bit of adulation from genuine football fans, not those so-called has-been-footballers-turned-pundits. *cough*

I always say it that in the world Of football, people like ozil comes once in a century. His passes are mostly invincible. Ich sage, es Zeit mit herausNummer, die Menschen tun, wenn ozil Art kommen in einem Jahrhundert. Seine Pässe sind meist unbesiegbar.

I think that ‘M’ sign he makes after scoring is not for his niece as some people suggest but for Michael Owen and Moyes.

ger

Looks like he was trying to “assist” the team to the second goal , thereby making the 3 points safe.
Then , eventually, he says to himself, “fuck it, I will have to score the second myself”.

I don’t mean to criticize our strikers but this is the kind of game with a striker like Henry used to end up 5-0 or 6-0.

And with chamakh and bendtner we used to lose 1-0.
It happens sometimes when it’s not your day. Three points is all that matters in the end.

Everyone votes Ozil for MOTM and rightly so.

BUT I’d give it to Gabriel (just) for effort and passion.

The Brazilian came in and put in a massive shift.

I don’t think like some simpler minds that he is suddenly the one to ‘replace Metersecker’.

This is pure drivel.

Per has been an important component who gets blame even if it isn’t largely his fault. Game against Soton, Koscielny (nominally consistent) had a shocker but Per gets most of the vocal blame. Against City, Per made 8 key intercepts but you won’t see the likes of 7amkickoff mention it bc it won’t suit his agenda.

Statistics. Its how they want you to see it remember.

What Gabriel brings is finally an ability to rotate effectively through Meterscielny.

Wenger has got a player who can develop and has a bit of both his main Cbacks attributes.

He has some height on him (I believe he is between Per and Koscielny) and is obviously an aerial threat. He also has pace like Koscielny. He will be therefore an effective partnership for both Per and Koscielny.

What was best about him of course was the hunger and desire he showed. He so desperately want to make an impression and he did it going forward without neglecting the main job at the back.

Credit to Gabriel. He’s story is slightly over shadowed by the brilliance of Ozil but lets not forget him. I’d like to see him take up more rotation with Meterscielny (both players).

i must admit how bitter i felt when we lost the barca DNA guy and van p*ssy, but i guess everything happens for a reason cos losing those two created a room for two geniuses in Alexis and Mysweet Ozil. i could sit here a whole day and couldnt find the right vocabs to describe Ozil but thank goodness we have a manager who is never short of words to describe his players.
