It’s a bit of a shame that De Gea is starting – seems like no matter how shit the rest of the team is in front of him, he’s able to make crazy saves to keep them in it. Notice how as soon as he came off in the corresponding fixture last year Valdes let one in.

I’ve said this before: Gabriel is faster than Per but that’s all he is. He is still an error-prone defender and makes the joke mistakes we were so used to during the barren years.
Both goals coming from him being too far away from Koscielny. Plus a dicey challenge that was just far enough outside the box for it to not be a penalty.
PS – Coquelin has been too far up the pitch all half – someone needs to have a word

Based on the highlights from the other game it’s only a matter of time before Tottenham equalise (and probably win). I don’t think we necessarily need to win this one, but we need to get at least a point.
What a shit first half! Theo gosh… Ramsey and Coquelin are terrible in midfield. Bellerin is having a mare.. And Gabriel well … mistakes after mistakes.. Alexis is suffering from a burnt out !
