Arsenal are expecting to have Hector Bellerin, Theo Walcott and Nacho Monreal available for the North London derby on Sunday.
Walcott and Monreal have missed the Gunners last three games with minor muscle complaints, and although both might have been ready for the trip to Bulgaria in midweek, Arsene Wenger was taking no chances with Sunday’s key clash with Sp*rs in mind.
Bellerin, meanwhile, had a ‘little problem’ at the end of a training session and was not risked. Cazorla hasn’t played since the home game against Ludogorets, when he had a long-standing Achilles issue agitated by a nasty tackle, and there may be more of a doubt over his return.
However, with the Arsenal manager set to return to the side which has played much of this season thus far, having 8 goal Walcott down the right alongside the brilliant Bellerin will be a real boost for the Gunners.
More team news when it drops later today.
Cautiously optimistic about November.
Now, let’s put the Tots in their rightfull place – in our shadows.
They’re already there so far this year.
Brilliant news. Really hope Cazorla is fit and ready to go.
My line-up: Cech, Bellerin, Mustafi, Koscielny, Monreal, Coquelin, Cazorla, Iwobi, Ozil, Walcott, Sanchez.
Classic line-up for me. We need pace, tempo, pressing, and brutality in this game. Some great game-changing options from the bench (Giroud, Ramsey, Ox).
Don’t mind who plays at LB though.
Isn’t that 3 back and not 4? With Santi still a doubt. ?
Hector counts as two, he’s that quick
We are flying, and they are in poor shape.
We’ve got these 3/4 back, while they are set to be without Aldeweireld, Dembele, Lamela, and most likely that crayon eater Kane.
We’ve got the league’s best number 10, they’re Hull City’s development academy.
How they are unbeaten I do not know, but it says everything that even when unbeaten, they’re still below us.
We are The Arsenal, and they’re the scum from up the road. We are going to batter them!!!!
3 – 0 after two early goals
Fingers crossed that it is a real situation and at least first three of them will take part in a derby!
Spurs. HaHa.
Sorry sp*rs
it’s going to be an exciting match, for sure.
Awesome news! Now, for 3 points against *shit*
Getting quite nervous. Everything going well for us so far but it is never easy against spurs. We have to not be complacent just because they been shit.
This made my day. COYG!
Cazorla is a big loss in general, but I think we may need more physical power in midfield against Spurs regardless. I’m a bit worried about the idea of Xhaka and Coquelin against them though, because there’s a card between them that’s for sure.. I’d really like to see Elneny given a start alongside one of those two. Think he’s earned it.
He’ll start Elneny for sure. Especially after xhaka playing a big chunk of the game on Tuesday. El Coq in the middle.
Interesting to see who of Xhaka and Elneny start alongside the Coq if cazorla is not fit. Don’t really know who I would prefer as Xhaka offers a better passing range and goal threat but Elneny is a more stable performer and doesn’t risk a red with his tackles. Also Coq and Elneny have started more games together.
Giving Spurs their first loss of the season >>>>>>>
And by the end of November realising it was what kicked off a horrible month for them from which they never really recovered.
6th.
I foreseen a tough match but nevertheless arsenal will carry the day with 3 goals to 1 even though I would have prefer Peter Cech have another clean sheet. Up gunners.
