It’s Champions League action tonight, and with four key players not making the trip, plus a North London derby on Sunday, Arsene Wenger has made some changes.

I think Ramsey will play right wing.
I think wenger is trying to get the match fit in time for the spuds because as things stand s it look like that cazorla will miss the game and we need ramsey and giroud coming of the bench.

Just saw the team again and realized Rambo is playing on the right. But who knows maybe Wenger will play Coq up front and he will score his first Arsenal goal!
He’s yet to score a goal in his career let alone for AFC!

As Ox played at the weekend and midweek in the league Cup it makes sense to rest him rather than 3 games in 7 days especially given his history of injury. Good opportunity to give Ramsey 60mins or so.

Ramsey on the right to rest Ox, you’d assume this means that Walcott definitely isn’t going to be fit for the weekend, which is a worry. Is that three weeks now that he has been out? Or perhaps Ramsey appearing on the right is to add extra defensive cover without Bellerin? Do hope we can get a couple of goals early on and get a couple of them off and wrapped in cotton wool for the weekend, however it doesn’t seem likely. Pretty awesome line-up, especially when you consider that four regulars didn’t even make the trip, and that bench could form the core of a top-half Premier League first XI. Squad depth, baby!
Now let’s go and run up a huge first half lead so we can rest a few more players for the weekend. I’d like to see a first half hat trick for Alexis so he will only be a little pissed off to be substituted at the break.
Hope to see Theo back soon so we don’t have to play Alexis every 3 days.
While I think it is great we have depth to put out still a great looking squad, the Arsenal fan within me is still nervous about the silly little injuries that are starting to add up. On the bench tonight there is no-one I would say “wow, he could be a gamechanger” like I have been able to recently.
On the plus side, it is only a mid table team we have this weekend.
we play Tuesday then Sunday; enough of this rest some players argument!
Sp*ds have a much bigger game tomorrow (more of a must win) so they won’t be able to rest at all for the weekend.

Good team selection by the gaffer but I’d have loved to see Rambo in a the middle of a 4-3-3 with that team . Anyway , here’s hoping we give ludogorets a good pasting again . Come on Arsenal !
