According to the Evening Standard, Bundesliga side Wolfsburg are on the verge of a £2 million deal for Arsenal youngster Kaylen Hinds.
The England youth international, 19, signed a contract extension at the Emirates in January before heading out on loan to League Two side Stevenage, where he made 12 appearances.
In normal circumstances, a jump from League Two to the Bundesliga might look very unusual, however, when you consider Andries Jonker – Arsenal’s former Academy head – and Freddie Ljungberg are running the show at the Volkswagen Arena it starts to make sense.
Given our proliferation of options up front, a £2 million fee for a player with no first team appearances to his name looks like decent business. No doubt Hinds is full of beans ahead of such an exciting move.
And when you think that they are setting the price for Ospinha at 4m…

Pretty indicative of the madness in the sport at the moment though that a kid with 12 appearances for Stevenage can attract a bid of £2m.
