Would love Ludogorets, Tiraspol, and Skenderbeu
Bulgaria, Moldova and Albania. Cheap beer, cheap flights hello! That’s all I think about when I see eastern European europa league teams vs Central European champions league powerhouses.
And Melania
So, you’re looking to get shit-faced in shitty places, then? You must love going to away games in Stoke and Middlesbrough.
Ludogoretz won’t play their games in Sofia this year – so it’s the flight and then a few hours bus to their town with a severely unpleasant away cage, so – no, I would not recommend.
Hi from Czech Republic! There are two teams in POT4 (Slavia Prague and FC Zlin) from our country, where beer is not only cheap, but also really good (since we’re called the ‘beer nation.’)
Also, Prague as one of the most beautiful cities in the world is definitely worth visiting and far from “shitty.”
Nope, it’s not shitty, but then I didn’t mention Prague.
You don’t need to get offended because you think I’m being xenophobic – seeing as how I mentioned that Stoke and Middlesbrough are shitty, does that mean I think everywhere in Western Europe is also shitty?
Well, that escalated quickly.
Dude, didn’t get offended at all, just come and have a beer!
Sorry yen – would be happy to do so 🙂
He wasn’t talking to you, just inviting Naz to come drink in Prague where the beer is cheap and good. Salue!
Fair enough. Apologies all.
Obviously too early in the morning for me.
This guy just won the internet today for having some integrity
I went interrailing a few years ago and Prague was by far the nicest city I visited, so beautiful and the people were so friendly. I much preferred it to the usual powerhouses of Paris, Rome, Barcelona etc…
… plus you can go out with the equivalent of 10 euro, get absolutely hammered and come home with change!!!
Surely sounds like Prague!
+ speaking of Trump, his first wife Ivana comes from Zlin.
THIS COUNTRY IS A LIVING DREAM GUYS.
Sounds great! I’m on my…..
Waiiit a minute …
**remembers the film ‘Hostel’**
Would be nice to draw Rosenborg. Weather’s lovely here at that time of year. Also you can get a pint for as little as £10 if you’re lucky.
I can’t believe we’re in this lower grade competition. It feels surreal…
Looking forward to an epic European cup run, but I am not sure if Arsene will take the competition seriously. We should be favourites to win it, along with Milan.
Teams in the Europa league are no pushovers.
Agree – think this is much more our current type of cup competition…but only if we take it seriously though. We’re good enough to win it, now let’s show that we can.
Sad though it is, we’ve been out of our depth in the CL for years now.
I fully expect the totts to drop in by November (after 4 rounds of CL group games), and many more strong teams too.
Young Boys, Zulte Waregem, Slavia Praha Please, manageable teams and no long travels
Except we’ll draw Istanbul BB just to face Clichy, Adebayor and Emre Belzoglou
Being from Bern, Switzerland I’m praying for the YB-Arsenal draw. Last year when we drew Basel I was over the moon, so let’s hope I get to see my team in my hometown this time. May the balls be heated juuust right.
This is our only realistic hope of CL football however I’m not convinced we’re good enough to win this tbh (unless we bring in top top quality, and keep Sanchez). Happy to be proved wrong.
fourth!!! woo hoo ! the wenger trophy
missing a bit of sharpness in the final third today
I hope we meet Rosenborg from pot 3. Lord Bendtner is currently playing there! He helped Rosenborg knock Ajax out last night by scoring the first goal.
No matter who we draw, our aim should be to win it. Hopefully Wenger takes this competition seriously.
He doesn’t even take the PL or the CL seriously.
Wenger takes both seriously, but he just can’t win it
Looks strange not to see T*ttenham’s name, I associate them with those Pot 3 and 4 sides.
Matter of time, they will join us by Christmas
If they manage to get third place
Please please please Östersund !!
Yes, would be great!

who even watches Europa league…
Me from this season! Hoping to see a LOT of goals throughout our run.
We do now. COYG!
how we have fallen. its a disgrace to see so many here embracing wengers failure mentality and satisfaction with mediocrisy.
joyfully awaiting the europa league fixtures.
take a long hard look at yourselves in the mirror tonight.
Or maybe we’re just getting behind our team and joyfully awaiting seeing them play? You can disagree with what Wenger is doing and still support the boys when they get out on the pitch.
Would love to get Hertha. Would be able to see the Arsenal in my hometown then. Touch wood!
If we do play them and some of you come over, let me know and I’ll show you my town, Gooners!
I know your town mate! It’s provided me with many fuzzy memories…..
For the Bundesliga it seems relatively easy to get Tickets for your big ass stadium, hope to get one for Arsenal should they be drawn in one group. doubt it will be as easy to get tickets as easily for Arsenal though
I heartily endorse this event or product
Berlingoon, do you know of a good pub in Berlin for watching football? Specifically Arsenal? Just moved and got dazn, but watching in my room can lack a bit of atmosphere
„Blarneys“

Cheers mate
Come on VARDAR my home team get the draw of my Dream 😀
worth to mention my home team eliminated that cunt snake van ppersie out of Europe against all the odds
I want Arsenal to draw Red Star Belgrade or Partizan. Really want to see Arsenal play here in this atmosphere 🙂
Well if is not Vardar, I will be glad to be Partizan or Red Star, will come to Belgrade to watch them will contact you to go together
Belgrade it is! 😀
less than a week to go. No more players coming in .
15 points of the boil last season and everyone bar spurs have strengthened their squads with the best players in the world while our managers is satisfied with our squad of wellbeck , ox , walcot and elniny.
Its a fucking joke but its making me so depressed.
It’s a joke when you can’t even spell the players that you’re moaning about.
we ve been downgraded to thursday night football and all you can think of is the spelling of the players names ? Classic wenger mentality i say.
Hate to break it to you, but spurs also just strengthened an already solid defence by buying one of the best young defensive talents in the world (Sanchez – I watch a lot of Ajax games as my second team).
we,re doomed then
Oh no, not a centre-half! It’s not like they already have two decent ones already or anything.
I don’t know who is in our group yet but I just put my life’s savings on us finishing 2nd
dont care
We’re going to play lyon at some point and we all know it
Real Sociedad (ESP),
Zulte Waregem (BEL),
Vitesse (NED)
I would take this, little travel, smaller clubs
and San Sebastian a lovely place to visit. I’d not bet Vela not scoring against us though.
Vela was always the master of the pointless goal, so we’d probably already be a few goals up at that point.
To be honest. Not interested at all.
Probably not going to be watching it till be reach the Semis or something. Just doesn’t interest me..
And to be honest we shouldn’t be too interested in it and probably concentrate on the PL.
What have we come down to 🙁
Give me Austria Wein, Rijeka and Praha!
N.B. we can’t draw Everton.
Considering our start to the season, I really think we should consider taking this League seriously. I think we will struggle to make top four, and should aim to try and get Champions League a la Mourinho with United last year. Winning the Europa League and qualifying for the Champions League both seem like mountains to climb for us, though.
So we’ll get
Marseille
Hoffenheim
AEK Athens
Our season ended when we played Ludogorets and Santi got injured. Let’s not forget that.
Marseille, Hoffenheim and Vitesse would make Thursday night football quite interesting
Red Star Belgrade would be awesome, or Partizan (the Zvezda stadium is more unique though, insofar as it is an amphitheater dug into the ground, which is only possible because the city is so far above sea level).
Belgrade is a brilliant city.
Red Star it is!
Everyone knows the Europa League is the new CL!
Just like the Carabao Cup is the new FA Cup!!
Thursday’s are the new Tuesday and Wednesday’s, they are that good!!
