Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang says he wasn’t sure if he’d like Alexandre Lacazette because he’d previously had beef with people who’d played for Lyon.
What kind of beef? We just don’t know. We could speculate. But we’re not sure that would achieve much.
Anyway, you can breathe a sigh of relief because Pierre does like Alex. Which is lovely. We probably shouldn’t be surprised…what stronger bond is there than that between two multi-millionaire athletes? None. You just can’t top that.
“My friend Lacazette was at Lyon when I was at St Etienne,” Aubameyang told Arsenal.com.
“He’s a player I appreciate and was good for me when I arrived here as he’s a nice person, very positive.
“I wasn’t 100 per cent sure about him when I came here as there were some Lyon players I didn’t get on well with but he wasn’t someone I had problems with when I played against them.
“I’m really happy to get to know someone so positive and he helped me settle into the dressing room.”
We don’t know for sure (Arsenal haven’t released any quotes) but we suspect Alex might like Pierre back. And that would be lovely too.
Before Arsenal lost to Newcastle in the most predictable way possible, Pierre and Alex made a nice pair up front, the former setting up the latter to put us in front.
…and yes, it is a very slow news week.
I like bacon.
I made a whole package of bacon yesterday, I’m sure you’d like to know. It was and continues to be delicious as I work my way through it.
To be honest, I wouldn’t like to know. Don’t get me wrong, I’m happy for you, but I’ve had some health problems recently and have had to vastly change my diet. Haven’t eaten any bacon in months. I’d say I think about bacon more often than sex at this point.

This much?
I’m going to watch them on Sunday. Will it be the first league game at the Emirates that isn’t a sell-out? Even next Thursday?
Haha it certainly won’t be the first league game that isn’t a sell out my friend.
Maybe a little too keen to be friends 🙂 against Newcastle I thought they were trying a bit too hard to find each other rather than taking the opportunity themselves. Still, hopefully bodes we’ll for a good partnership in time
We need to play Laca behind Auba the way Griezmann and Giroud did it for France (if we don’t start Ozil that is…)
I like when Arsenal win
I like some people
Had to click on it. Better story than the when in which we’re once again linked with signing Benzema.
Editing and grammar. Not the best
What a lovely day.
I prefer when strikers fucking hate each other. Back in the day, I understand Kevin Campbell hated Alan Smith so much, he once made him a Nutella sandwich using his own shit instead of Nutella.
