It’s been confirmed that Arsenal will play Leicester City at the King Power on Wednesday 9 May, 2018 at 7:45pm.
The match was originally scheduled to take place in March but had to be rescheduled due to Leicester’s involvement in the FA Cup.
As things stand, the visit of the Foxes will be Arsenal’s penultimate game of the season.
It’s currently sandwiched between a home game against Burnley (scheduled for 5th May but likely to move to the 6th if we make the Europa League semi-final) and our final game of the Premier League season away at Huddersfield Town on 13th May.
An exciting end to the season, can’t wait.
You didn’t use the sarcasm font.
Don’t think it was needed, you’re bright enough to realise.
I thought he was completely serious
Nobody is going to turn up in the stadium anyway. It is going to be more than half empty and Arsene in his Press conference is going to probably say it was all due to the change of dates and that has caused the confusion. I don’t even feel like watching the Premier League matches even on TV. It feels watching a few warm up matches on the trot. Getting used to being a mid team table is taking a toll on me. I am gearing up for the Liverpool Vs Man City match. Wish we were there competing.
I meant the half empty away end. Leicester fans would probably be making the noise.
We all knew you dropped a clanger and thought it was a home game for us. Instead of redeeming yourself, your follow up comment made it even worse.
Well in his defence and bearing in mind that not all our readers are native English speakers, the title is slightly misleading as “for Leicester visit” could mean Leicester are coming to the Emirates (yes I know we played them at the Emirates first game of the season). “For Leicester trip” perhaps would have been better.
This reads like a pre teens diary. Don’t be so melodramatic and stop watching if you can’t handle the mental toll of the club through thick and thin.
Please let it be Wenger’s farewell at the Emirates.
It’s an away game, so tricky for that to happen!
