Arseblog News doesn’t recall any recent rumours linking Hector Bellerin with a move away from the Emirates, but that hasn’t stopped someone in Singapore from quizzing him on the subject.
Faced with the question, Hector – sounding somewhat miffed – emphatically killed the nonsense.
“It is crazy that people ask me these questions all the time,” he said.
“A few years ago I signed a very long-term contract. I have never said that I have wanted to be anywhere else. I am very happy in London. I am very happy at this club.
“The club have made me who I am and gave me the chance to be the footballer I am today. So I don’t want to be anywhere else.”
So there. Now get back to asking him about his kooky collection of sunglasses and how he keeps his hair looking so groomed even in the humidity of the Far East.
For the record, Hector is under contract at Arsenal until 2023. That’s ages away. We’ll all be living on Mars by then…or the Earth will resemble Mars by then. It’s touch and go.
He’s a good lad, fast, great control and at 23, will improve further.
Could be a legend for us, even if you don’t like his hair.
Bellerin’s career at Arsenal has reached a fork in the road.
When he first emerged at the club he looked like a future superstar. But last season was his worst for us. He has a lot to prove this season; hopefully a new manager will improve him.
I’m sorry, but that dreadful performance away in Madrid sticks in my mind. Bellerin’s hopeless defending and inability to cross a ball cost us the game. He was awful that night.
It’s time for him to shape up.
Fats, I asked you the other day who would be next on your hitlist after Arsene and Ozil…smh.
Fats – Do you actually like anyone at all???
You do not sound like an Arsenal fan…
He’s 23, pacy, loyal, experienced and Barcelona and City have both shown interest in the past. Genuine potential to be the best in the world on his position.
His dip in form doesn’t mean we should be putting as much pressure on him as you’re suggesting.
Aren’t we supporters?
Funny how Fatgooner gets downvoted for stating the facts. His last season was bad. He’s become the master of the backwards pass. I’m not saying that he doesn’t have potential, just that based on last season he has a lot to prove. Bellerin might actually be one of the players who improves the most with Emery and his focus on attacking fullbacks.

Dam predictive ruined the joke
Go support yanited with all those entitled whiny twats.
Time for you to shape up, Fats.
This comment from Fats is measured and about performance and not personal.
This is how an Arsenal player should talk!
COYG!
Hopefully he can spread the feeling to other members of the squad *cough* Ramsey *cough*
That’s the most romantic anyone has been about their contract situation
Are we still on earth?
We are citizens of the Red Planet.
He was well supported I felt by Nelson. I think young Reiss offers us something on that right side both going forward and defensively. His pace will allow Bellerin cover when the Spaniard goes forward. BUT I feel we could well do with a more experience player on the right still, regardless in lieu of Nelson getting knocked (touch wood) Plus someone who can also perform similar function as a quick release outlet on the left side affording us the ability to push Auba into a central role if need be (Laca sucks at protecting the ball) I don’t think… Read more »
Thumbs up! But I think you should have more faith in Nelson, AMN and our young CBs. We’re not expecting perfection this year, we want better team performances so let’s give our potential a chance and surround them with experience. I think we need a wide player but more so we can keep laca up top and have some real rotation. Again, I would opt for high quality youth. We should splash the cash and go big, especially if we lose Ramsey. I also think between Guendouzi and Iwobi we have the youth and options to back up Miki/Ozil/Ramsey. I’ve… Read more »

Haha – superb! Truly.
Think we’ll see great things from Hector this season.
Nicely done Bellerin and Blogs
Big différence from the usual “in football you never know what might happen”
Hector, please add a bit more muscles to your already very nice body. This league is rough and you must have known this well.
