Ch-ch-ch-ch-Changes: Latest round of TV fixtures announced

For those who travel to see Arsenal from far-flung parts of the UK or abroad, the TV schedule is something to keep an eye on when booking planes, trains and automobiles.

So, the latest round of fixtures have been decided, giving us clarity up until the end of November.

The Arsenal games affected are:

Fulham v Arsenal

Date: Sunday October 7th
KO: 12 noon
Channel: BT Sport

Arsenal v Leicester

Date: Monday October 22nd
KO: 20.00
Channel: Sky Sports

Crystal Palace v Arsenal

Date: Sunday October 28th
KO: 13.30
Channel: Sky Sports

Arsenal v Liverpool

Date: Saturday November 3rd
KO: 17.30
Channel: BT Sport

Bournemouth v Arsenal

Date: Sunday November 25th
KO: 13.30
Channel: Sky Sports

Update – our game against Wolves has also moved due to our Europa League involvement.

Arsenal v Wolverhampton Wanderers

Date: Sunday, November 11th
Kick-off: 4.30pm

Too much going on today to really care, but why are we playing a Monday night game the week of a Europa League tie again?

Can Sky Sports seriously fuck off with the amount of Sunday matches? It’s not like we’re already going to have enough of them due to Europa issues.

Saturday : Pub, walk to ground, greasy undercooked burger with huge amounts of burnt onions. 15:00 : game. 17:30 pub. Perhaps some kind of Kebab or something much later. As I’m a lightweight and been drinking since noon, home, and then fall asleep during match of the day.

Evening fixtures and sundays are lovely, but the above is how football should be consumed. The game loses something if it’s not on a saturday afternoon.

I am beginning to lose interest in the Premier League. These changes are totally ridiculous and yet again it is the fans who are made to suffer. I refuse to attend an Arsenal home match that doesn’t fall on a Saturday at 3pm and cannot imagine why anyone would attend at these rearranged times. The Sky/BT money making machine rolls on; Stan will be happy, however, as this money will sustain his profits because he sure won’t be putting any money into the team.
