As a measure of the quality of the homegrown prospects that Arsenal have in their academy at present, there are a host of young Gunners in the England youth squads.
Here’s a look at which players have been making an impact at which levels.
U20s
Midfielder Joe Willock and winger Reiss Nelson both featured as England U20s beat Switzerland 2-0.
Willock produced an encouraging performance while Nelson, who is spending the season on loan at Hoffenheim, also caught the eye.
Eddie Nketiah was an unused substitute but the striker was selected to train with Gareth Southgate’s senior squad this week as he gained valuable experience.
U19s
Emile Smith Rowe was initially called up to the England U19 squad, but Arsenal, under the instructions of Unai Emery, chose for the midfielder to be withdrawn so that he could instead train with the first-team at London Colney.
U18s
Tyreece John-Jules, who has been in excellent form for Arsenal at youth level this season, provided an assist in England U18s’ 3-0 victory over Holland, with livewire winger Bukayo Saka also featuring in that fixture.
John-Jules then managed to get on the scoresheet himself as the U18s beat Russia 3-0. His Arsenal team-mate, goalkeeper Arthur Okonkwo, managed to keep a clean sheet.
Intriguingly, Folarin Balogun was also involved, with the striker, who was born in New York, having also played for the United States at youth level recently, indicating that he has yet to make a decision on his future.
Right-back Vontae Daley-Campbell was amongst the substitutes in both games, while Xavier Amaechi didn’t feature, which suggests that he may have suffered an injury.
U17s
Sam Greenwood joined Arsenal from Sunderland this summer and, while he has yet to get off the mark for the Gunners, the highly regarded forward scored as England U17s thrashed Norway 6-0.
Yunus Musah, one of Arsenal’s standout youngsters, captained the side despite still being a schoolboy, while Miguel Azeez also featured.

Jeorge- any idea how the teams differ in physicality say at u18 level? I always see England youth teams towering over their opponents and with vastly superior stamina- is this still the case or have we gone some way to addressing the deficiency of technically gifted players?
So many black players ofcourse physically they are going to be bigger stronger and faster
