One of our greatest former strikers sat down last week with one of our current crop – Ian Wright chats to Alexandre Lacazette about life in London, at Arsenal, his form and much more.
Mainly made me feel a bit uncomfortable throughout.
Couple of good bits, where Wrighty did ask totally leading questions.
Lava always loved Arsenal for its great players….didn’t mention Mr Wright .
Then right at the end Wrighty says ” now Ozil, IT Maude be brilliant playing…blah fuckin blah.” Should have stopped there and eaten his fuckin ludicrous hat.
Love both these boys. Laca looks bang on it this season, had a couple of dry games on the goal front but he’s a great player and can’t wait for him to bang in a bag full on Sunday.
Do the wright thing, Ian wright wright wright is our true legend
He scored tons of goals for us with literally dixon and seaman as our playmakers
He probably would score more than thierry if he had played with bergkamp for a longer period

In other news…Reiss Nelson watch, 4 goals in 4 games for Hoffenhiem.
Beautiful silky move today against Stuttgart dribbling pass 3 players , his shot was saved but rebound eventually put in by a teammate.
Not sure why he is behind Jadon Sancho in the Ingelund set up.
We could well do with Nelson this season. The loan will do him much good but we really need someone like him to provide more options out wide.

Ian Wright is such a fan. Not the best pundit often over reacts but he wears the club on his sleeve. And great questions. Some things confirmed – 1) Laca and Auba have great chemistry. Looks like Laca knows Auba thrives running in from left taking the ball on the ground rolling across face of goal. 2) We get more chances for goals as the game wears on. Teams tend to come at us first half but then dissipate as it goes on. 3) Laca (and the team) thriving under new direction. Where Wenger is the genius putting together a… Read more »

I think Wenger had him trying to play the role Giroud could but they are very different.
With room to move and Auba also adding threat, Laca can pop up in more dangerous pockets.
