It’s not yet been confirmed who Arsenal will face in the FA Cup 3rd round, but we do know it’ll be on TV.
League One Blackpool and Solihull Moors of the Vanarama National League will slug out a replay at Bloomfield Road on the 18 December for the right to host the Gunners at 5.30pm on Saturday 5 January. The match will be broadcast in the UK on BT Sport 2.
We played Blackpool earlier this season in the Carabao Cup, winning 2-1 courtesy of goals by Stephan Lichtsteiner and Emile Smith Rowe.
Unai Emery’s squad have eight games between now and the first weekend of January, so it’s fair to suggest that against weaker opposition there’s a fairly high chance we’ll rotate for the start of the FA Cup.
