Arsenal take on Southampton at the Emirates this afternoon looking for three points and revenge against the side that ended our unbeaten run earlier in the season.

We are playing again in a couple of days. Rotating between Ramsey and Ozil is very understandable in a tight program.

The one we actually miss quite a bit when he’s not there but who gets virtually no attention due to the focus on Ozil is Xhaka.
And it’s not as if Ozil pulled up any trees against the bus drivers and goat herders the other day

I really dobt understand Unai anymore (not that i did understand him well before). Why bench Auba and Ozil? Why Licht is playing again? Why Mustafi, why?

Have to admit sometimes I think we’d be better playing with 10 men than putting Mustafi on the pitch
Auba has played a lot. We have no defenders. Rotation.
Cause Auba played 90 minutes on Thursday and is the only striker we have available for the 2 games against Rennes. Özil has played 90 mins too after being out for quite some time so it’s reasonable that he rotates him and Ramsey. Lichtsteiner plays because Hector and Ainsley are injured. And Mustafi plays because Holding is injured and Koscielny not fully fit after he had to come off on Thursday.
Maybe at least try to see the logic behind it before going on a rant.
If Koscielny is fit for the bench he should be fit to start,no?

not as bad, but obvious questen ist why does lichti start again? Ramsey is leaving soon, just put özil in and you are good to go. Players need gametime…to get a decent form again –> Özil

3 massive games in 6 days, I think Spurs are catchable, they’re on the ropes, and have been riding their luck for weeks now.
All going well? and we could be only a point behind them this time next week.

A good line up, nice balance across the midfield.
The only problem I see is the weakness of our Left side. Kolasinac, is very attacking minded and makes a few mistakes at the back, Iwobi makes mistakes and doesnt have a solid defender behind him to help him recover and Xhaka struggles to back track and draws a lot of fouls… let’s see how it pans out.
Also the fact that Charlie Austin is on the bench for Southampton makes me worry… he has a very good record against us. I hope it isn’t a tight game before he comes on as I feel hes similar to Troy Deaney, in the respect of liking a scrap in the box; an area I feel we struggle with in close scoreline ties.
The only players requires to rest is Guen & Auba other than that the team which won 3-0 should play… Ozil & Laca links up well too…. But no, Mr Emery likes to rotate as usual.
Oh no, Emery is rotating his squad just like virtually every other manager. Truly, he’s one of history’s greatest monsters…
At yet 50 year old Licht is getting another run out. He’s been completely exposed. Let’s hope it doesn’t happen again today.
