Arsenal U18s return to Premier League Cup action tomorrow with a home game against Blackburn Rovers.
The young Gunners were left frustrated last weekend as they surrendered their lead to end up drawing 2-2 with rivals Tottenham Hotspur in the league.
However, there were some positives to take from that fixture, not least the performance of Nathan Butler-Oyedeji, with the winger scoring both of Arsenal’s goals.
The hard-working youngster has impressed in patches since the start of the season and is now beginning to truly establish himself at U18 level.
As has often been the case this season, the performance of midfielder Miguel Azeez could be key to determining how Arsenal fare.
With his excellent range of passing, Azeez, who recently signed his first professional contract with the club, is capable of making Arsenal tick.
Forward Sam Greenwood could be back available after missimg the Tottenham game due to his commitments with the U23s.
Arsenal won comfortably against Wolverhampton Wanderers in their first Premier League Cup game of the season and will be determined to prevail against a Blackburn side that have gone three games without a win.
Blackburn did, however, manage to take all three points against Manchester City last month, and midfielder Chanka Zimba is a player to watch out for.
