Arsenal midfielder Daniëlle van de Donk won her 100th cap for Netherlands in a 2-0 Euro 2021 qualifying victory over Russia on Tuesday evening. In a fairytale evening for the Gunners attacker, van de Donk opened the scoring after 12 minutes.
The match was played at PSV Eindhoven’s Phillips Stadium, near where DvD grew up. She was given a special presentation prior to the game and a minute’s applause in the 10th minute (she wears number 10 for her country). She opened the scoring in the 12th minute.

Well done! Congrats!
How old is she? Just interested how quickly she has done it
She’s 28. But there are far more internationals in women’s football than men’s, it’s fairly common to get over 100 caps. Christine Sinclair has 286 for Canada (though that is a record tbf and not typical).
Thanks for that!
I think we should give Beth Mead lots of credit for scoring the winning ‘wonder goal’ last evening.

I spent a lot of time wondering about it!
Well she will never get an easier one that is for sure!
I wonder if she’ll bring out a DvD….?!!
I am not taking the piss when I say that I love her name!!
Congrats to the lovely and fierce competitor
Well done and congratulations Danielle on your 100th cap
