Outstanding
Great news, well deserved from such an excellent player!!
When you prefer to watch the women do the business bc the men’s first team are abject.
I thought van De Donk was also excellent. Pair of Dutch girls really running the roost.
At last we have converted you, Santori!
And Viv is considerably younger than most on that list so she could still be nominated for many years to come!
Well deserved Viv but why (and who!) keeps “wheeling” out the same old names for these things?
Marta 10 years ago, yes. In 2019 , no . Not far off being old enough to be Viv’s mum.
Also, congratulations Sari but do a couple of excellent performances at the World Cup warrant this accolade?
I agree, how can you compare 2019 Marta to Alex Morgan or Rose Lavelle? Did the selection panel whoever thay are watch the World Cup?
I suspect in this daft non-devisive world in which we live a certain number of candidates have to come from each field position hence Sari and even more surprising Sarah Bouhaddi. Best player in the world? Seriously?
