It has been confirmed that four more Arsenal fixtures have been rescheduled after being selected by Sky Sports for broadcast in the UK.
The February schedule includes the first Premier League mid-season player break, where the fixtures of Matchweek 26 are split across the two weekends of 7-10 February and 14-17 February, 2020.
Sunday 2 February 2020,
14:00 Burnley v Arsenal
(Sky Sports)
Sunday 16 February 2020,
16:30 Arsenal v Newcastle
(Sky Sports)
Sunday 23 February 2020,
16:30 Arsenal v Everton
(Sky Sports)
Sunday 1 March 2020,
14:00 Man City v Arsenal*
(Sky Sports)
All the games had originally been scheduled as 3pm Saturday kick-offs.
*This game could be rescheduled again if City make the League Cup final.
Kind of ruins the expression ‘a month of Sundays’, doesn’t it? Just another standard month for the Arsenal.
Are there any rules? Must you bribe somebody to get Saturday matches?
Given we would have had to change the date of the matches against Everton & City due to the Europa League anyway, having them as TV games is sensible. Burnley & Newcastle on the other hand ??♂️
