I really hope Mustafi has a good game. COYG!

I really hope they all have a wonderful game

We need the FA Cup as a potential escape route to this poor, poor season.

Easily the most controlled half of football we’ve played under Arteta. Bournemouth have not been very good, but we’re moving the ball extremely well, confidently, and Willock adds a physical dimension to that #10 role that we need in away matches like this. How about that Saka!

Holding and Mustafi truly is the tale of Frank Grimes and Homer Simpson brought to life.

Decent line up.
Was hoping to see Fola Balogun.
Heard he’s the new big thing.

Fuck me…..I’m lovin this!

I’d really like to see Eddie and Pepe get on the scoresheet for a bit of a boost today!

I hope Ceballos will get some minutes

I sincerely thought Holding was going to get the nod for this…

Dave M

Quite disappointed. He’s not going to improve riding the pine

Good lineup but was hoping to see Ceballos play as well

“Obviously he’s being punished for the outrageous dust-up with the Manager over playing time.”

Mesut O’Neill

I would have given Maitland-Niles a start as DM. Guess he didn’t incase Bellerin needs to be subbed.

Maybe for the best with Hector just coming back last match and his bad fitness luck this season.

Holding should have started this game but what do I know??

Lets go for the kill!

I would have played Lacazette as he needs a goal to kick-start his form again, but looking at the Bournemouth team, I fancy us to win.
A draw wouldn’t be so bad though – replay at the Emirates to boost income by a 7-figure sum, and more game time for the likes of Nketiah, Willock, Guendouzi, Martinez.

I’m surprised that Bellerin, Mustafi and Xhaka are starting for different reasons – coming back from injury, talking up Holding and needing playing time, rest – respectively.

Suppose Arteta is taking this quite seriously and may substitute some of them later in the game based on the situation.

Looking forward to that winning feeling (no replays please). COYG.

Yeah I was expecting Holding and AMN for the same reasons.

Xhaka needs to play in this one to provide some experience behind that young forward line.

Should be a cracking game.. Looking forward to watching the Arsenal again!

Portsmouth away in the next round if we win tonight.

8th in League 1 .. yes please!

Wow, I don’t want to sound cocky, but for that stage of the competition that’s more or less a bye to the next round compared to what other Premier League teams will be facing.
Also good news that Kloppo announced to field basically an U23 squad for the replay vs Shrewsbury, because he already promised his senior squad a holiday for the date on which the FA scheduled the replay.

In other words, don’t blow this, guys! (No pressure…)

Arteta is toying with the FA cup I believe with this line up.Mustafi is becoming a common denominator I guess.?

The good thing is that a draw is not a catastrophe today or generally in this competition, even though we could do without any additional games I guess. But we didn’t lose that much this season, for example only 6 losses in the league. Spurs, ManU and Chelsea have 8 losses each already. We just had far too many draws in the league, but in the FA Cup, if it doesn’t work out today for whatever reason, just take the draw and beat them at home with Auba returning.
However, I am very positive that we will win today. 🙂

Yep, this is the last round that draws go to replays. The next round, it’s extra time and penalties.

It’s Portsmouth away next…
Come on you Gunners…

Arms crossed

Good options on bench just in case we need to change things to get the result. COYG!

Mustafi the clown rides again…. Couldn’t control myself. Guess Mikel really believes that he can develop him and cure the last stage of brainfartitis. Let’s see.

Mustafi the clown has brainfartitis? Watch him go tonight, like a gazelle on speed!!!

Wilsheres Middle Finger

Looking forward to watching the Whizz Kid-Martinelli terrorise the oppositions defence again.

Good goal. BUT struggled thereafter to make an impact.

Very willing player to say the least.

If Auba goes in the summer, likely we will cycle potentially Martinez central.

Whether we keep faith in Nektiah will become an issue.
