As mentioned before…jury still out. Arteta’s biggest issue is being able to sustain performances. As was Unai’s and Wenger before him. We’ve milked the odd big victories over Chelsea with Wenger and recently over United with Arteta. But then slumped to anonymous performances with the likes of Sheffield or Southampton etc. Motivating this team over one match or two is not a big deal. We’ve seen Solskjaer and Lampard do likewise get a string of strong results and ‘response’ from the team then slide to checkered performances thereafter.
