Dang, not unexpected but how does Saka not start here? We know this midfield doesn’t work.
Yeah we know it from the semifinal.
Saka has played a lot of football this year, and he signed a new deal, and really surpassed all expectations — he looked to be slowing down recently, and I think Arteta is wise to save him as a sub in this, and give MN the chance to earn some praise with another hard-working performance.
Substitutes are just as important and he gives us opportunity to change things later and have a big impact. How we finish is as important as how we start
Saka’s looked a bit jaded in the last few games. Hopefully second half we’ll switch to a back 4 and bring him in a forward wing position.
Is Smith Rowe on bench? Is he allowed to play?

No, it’s Matthew Smith that’s on the bench. He’s been an unused sub for quite a few of our games since the restart.
