Arsenal’s 2-0 win over Leicester in the Carabao Cup on Wednesday set up a fourth round tie with Liverpool after they beat Lincoln City 7-2 last night.
The game has been scheduled for Thursday evening with a kick off time of 7.45.
It means we travel to Anfield twice in a week, as we’re already preparing for Monday night’s Premier League clash against the Champions.
It makes for a busy week with Liverpool on Monday and Thursday, and then Sheffield United at home on Sunday.
Chances are Mikel Arteta will be rotating his Carabao Cup team more than he did for the Leicester game, but that’s a bridge we can cross during the week.
This game should be televised on Sky Sports.
Liverpool away twice in a week, then Sheffield.
Lets come out of this period unscathed, and Top of the league.
I’d be buzzing, and I’d sort the beer for every Gunner around me.
Let’s go Gunners!!!
?
May as well book a hotel. Take the squad. Do some team building between games
The hotels are all full of illegal immigarants straight off the dingy lad.

Immigrants can’t be “illegal”, joeb.
It feels like we’re just always playing Liverpool.
Also I’m growing really bored of the transfer window now. 5th October feels a long way away, even though I know it’s not. The season won’t really feel like it’s started until that’s gone.
There’s some actual games of football that should keep you entertained up until that point.
Don’t know if you’ve taken your eyes off Twitter for a fee minutes to watch them? I’m presuming not.
I suggest you do so as, contrary to the myriad of negativity on Twitter would suggest, we’ve actually won 6 in a row!
Four points and cup progression would be just about right (six points obviously better, but margin for error)
Liverpool will probably win in the league, last season they dropped 2 point at Anfield. But a good performance would be lovely and if we can steal anything a massive bonus.
Oooh, it’s an energy drink!
We can probably get ready for two extremely punishing games, as I don’t think Klopp and his troops look on us as an easy mark any more — they will be prepared with a gameplan to execute from kickoff.
Just bring it on. We are well able.
Strangely enough after beating them in the league last season I am not worried. And it would be fucking hilarious if we won both games ?
Arteta knows just what to do to Klopp and the Kops Army.
