According to Swedish publication Aftonbladet, Arsenal will sign 18-year-old striker Nikolaj Duus Möller from Malmo for around £400,000.
The Sweden under-19 international will sign a four-year deal at the Emirates with the Gunners retaining an option to extend his contract by a further 12 months.
Moller – a Danish name from his mother’s side – has already played abroad spending 18 months with Bologna.
Offered a contract to stay in Italy, he says he decided to return to Malmo in January in the hope of breaking into the first team. As far as we’re aware, that hasn’t yet happened but his talent obviously hasn’t gone unnoticed, hence our interest.
Our resident Arsenal youth expert, Jeorge Bird, expects Moller to join up with the under-23s who are a little short on firepower after several players went out on loan.
A big, teenage Scandinavian striker called Nic…just like the old days.
