If you were concerned that Arsenal versus Liverpool might ruin your enjoyment of an Easter Sunday feast (if you do that type of thing), then you can relax because the game has been moved.
Due to Liverpool’s involvement in the Champions League – they face Real Madrid in the quarter-finals on Tuesday 6 April – the showdown with Jurgen Klopp’s faltering champions has been brought forward a day and will now be played on Saturday 3 April at 8pm.
The match is due to be broadcast in the UK by Sky Sports.
In normal times, the late notice would undoubtedly be a reason for a *fist shake at football’s authorities* but with fans not in attendance due to Covid-19, it’s unlikely to mess with anyone’s travel arrangements. Unless your sofa is miles away.
One less sleep until the return of Arsenal’s maniacal brand of association football. Let’s hope we’re not crucified.
If we can approach this with confidence and cut out the (many) lapses in concentration, we can definitely win this. Tierney to show Robertson who the best Scottish left back is.
That’s quite a big “if”. Clearly unless we do, we may well be in the cack.
Ha. I see what you did there.
Let’s hope it’s not the resurrection of Liverpool’s form!
Though knowing us..
And I am doubting Thomas will last 90 minutes after this useless international break.
Probably our last supper for European qualification too…
I think we can beat Liverpool, especially if we score more goals than them.
Hahaha 🙂
Although, West Ham scored more goals than us yesterday 😉
…or they score fewer than us.
well if they don’t score, we’ll definitely not lose.
I’m sure we could find a way
Late night blog for you then.
i totally expect arsenal to be the team that resurrects liverpool and salah’s form on their way to champions league glory. Time to bring back salah in my fpl team.
Saturday night TV was already crap!
Our easy 3 points brought forward.
That rag-tag defence of theirs won’t stand the onslaught of Arteta’s well oiled attacking machinery.
3 – 1 to the gunners.
Well we know his hair will be well oiled, if his machinery is oiled as well remains to be seen. And that’s enough chat about Arteta’s machinery.
Just throwing it out there but this is my birthday so could make or break my day. Don’t let me down Mikel.!
Happy early birthday, fellow gooner 🎂
“Lets hope we’re not crucified.”
Really? Really?
I’m sure it was Arsenal who first broke this liverpool team, injuries have kept them down in the dumps form wise, but I honestly believe we came and matched them knocking them off their ‘winning everything best team in the world currently’ perch.
I can place the photo at the top of this article, but I can’t date it or recognise any of the players. I think you can see the chimney of the laundry behind the North Bank, which would make it pre-war, before even my time! https://maps.nls.uk/view/103313231
It’s stupi rescheduling matches without putting fans into considerations. Here in Nigeria many of us fans,Christians especially Catholics are going to miss the match as the time colides with the time for Easter Vigil Mass. I can’t forgo my time for God to go watch this match.
Please have Arsenal win it would be a huge confidence booster. One step at a time but a win vs Liverpool would be a big step
