Sheffield Wednesday have confirmed the signing of Tyreece John-Jules on loan for the rest of the season.
The striker, 20, had been due to spend the entire campaign with Championship side Blackpool but was recalled last week having struggled for game time in recent months. In total, he played 11 times at Bloomfield Road but didn’t break his duck for the Tangerines.

While Wednesday are definitely a bigger name in English football, the move to Hillsborough will see John-Jules drop down a division to League One. It’s a league he knows well following previous loans with Lincoln City and Doncaster Rovers. At the latter, he played for Darren Moore who is now manager of Sheffield Wednesday.
The Owls are currently three points off the promotion places, so they’ll no doubt be hoping their new signing can help them chase down a place at Wembley.
Good luck, Tyreece.
Another player going out on loan – albeit a youngster.
Good luck to him – I seriously doubt he will be given an opportunity at Arsenal.
Hopefully he will shine with Sheffield Wednesday !
Bad – Good
Good – Baaaaaaad
Gooooooood !
I’ve always liked John-Jules, he’s has some difficult times with injuries and hopefully this loan will give him playing time and be exactly what he needs. All the very best to him and I hope it works out.
Best of luck to him. He really needs to progress rapidly from here if he’s going to make it at Arsenal. Always been earmarked as a prospect so here’s hoping he can do it. Just needs the right chances and some good coaching.
He can still play for us in the weekends, then?
