Arsenal’s 17-year-old centre-half Teyah Goldie has joined Championship side Watford on loan until the end of the season. Teyah joins the Hornets on a dual registration deal.
Goldie made her Arsenal debut as a 16-year-old in the FA Cup against Gillingham last April. She has played 35 minutes in the first team this season but with Leah Williamson returned to fitness and the signing of Rafaelle Souza, her chances are likely to be limited.
Teyah has been a regular on the bench for Arsenal this season and largely plays as a centre-half but is capable of playing as a full-back or in midfield on occasion. She has six substitute appearances for the first team. She joins Anna Patten, goalkeeper Natalia Negri (Charlton) and midfielder Halle Houssein (West Ham) in leaving the club on loan in January to further their development.
