Your “defence” of Keet’s contribution and also of Jordan’s influence I found particularly insightful. Regarding Jordan, I can’t make up my mind whether Jonas’s sparing use of her is because he doesn’t consider her as a “first choice pick” or it is to protect her because of her injury history. She did seem to be stepping a little tentatively in the second half of the United game.

As ever, interesting insights from Tim. I do see how Beth and Nikita don’t quite complement each other. Beth can still be pretty effective down the left – think of her first goal against Chelsea in the season opener. One aspect of Keats’ play I do like is how she helps defend or break up attacks down the opponents’ left wing. I’m still feeling that Jordan isn’t quite there. Where can one find stats for these games? It would be nice to see them. Arsenal played better but is still struggling mightily to create quality chances and is not getting much at all in attack from its midfield.
