Arsenal U18s finish their campaign and the academy season as a whole when they face Tottenham Hotspur away tomorrow morning.
The young Gunners have been in impressive form in recent weeks, winning four of their last five games, and last weekend they staged a dramatic comeback to beat Norwich City, with Taylor Foran scoring a late winner.
Arsenal are in sixth place going into their last game but there is the possibility that they could finish as high as third with a victory.
Coach Dan Micciche has made some tactical tweaks in recent weeks, with Billy Vigar, who is usually a striker, moving out to the right flank, while Charles Sagoe Jr is being deployed up front having previously played as an attacking midfielder or out wide.
15-year-old Ethan Nwaneri has been one of Arsenal’s most impressive performers at this level in recent weeks and looks set for a very quick progression through the ranks.
For many of the players involved tomorrow it will be their final appearance for the U18s, with the majority of them set to step up to the U23 squad on a full-time basis from next season.
Tottenham, meanwhile, are in ninth place in the table. They drew 3-3 with Brighton & Hove Albion in their last fixture.
