Arsenal’s opening WSL game of the season away at Manchester City will kick off at 7pm on Sunday, 11th September at the Academy Stadium and the game will be shown live on Sky Sports in the UK.
The remaining TV picks for September and October have yet to be announced but Arseblog News has it on good authority that the first home game of the season, against Brighton at Meadow Park, will be a Friday night game on 16th September at 7pm and will also be shown live on Sky Sports.
Earlier this week, Arsenal announced that three WSL games will take place at Emirates Stadium, including their third WSL match of the season at home to Spurs on the w/e of 24th / 25th September. The Gunners will also play a two-legged Champions League playoff for entry into the group stage on 20/21 September (away) and 27/28 September (at home).
Meanwhile, four Gunners will be involved in Sunday’s Euro 2022 Final between England and Germany, with Lotte Wubben-Moy, Leah Williamson, Beth Mead and Nikita Parris in the England squad- though Nikita Parris’ transfer to Manchester United is expected to be announced in the days following the tournament’s conclusion.
