Vieira on the right then? Excited to see that.

Martinelli’s 100th match for Arsenal.

My deep apologies for upsetting someone with this fact.

Not much of a threat ..pretty static similar to Nic Pepe

Turner injured? I know marquinios was ill

That really sucks for both of them – such limited opportunities

David C

A pretty strong side. A point will do and we can play the U11 team in the last game of the group.

I imagine PSV will be more attacking at home because they have to go for it. Arsenal should play smart and look for some cheeky counters.

Best of luck lads! I can see another right footed Xhaka smash into the back of the net. We’ll have to call him Santi soon, haha!

Turner ??

11 Bukayos

Tight groin according to Charles Watts

What’s that about?
Releasing a tight groin is a very easy and pleasurable exercise.
Let’s go win the group, Gunnerssss!!!

Strong team – PSV are wobbling recently – will be good to get some young guys in if we can score a few first.

Alex Nagy

Hopefully Martinelli will get swapped out around 65 mins for Nelson to save his legs, the guy is a monster and never stops running, but we need to save his legs with fixtures coming thick and fast.

Granit(e) hard!

Xhaka, again on the starting line up, he is for me one of our most undervalued player, I will be the first to hands up about undervaluing him, justified from history but boy, has this guy made me eat my words?..he is virtually injury free, now consistent in delivering quality performance, se to have cut out the Xhaka moments we all hate plus now added end products to his game, if Arteta can’t afford to drop you, speaks volumes for your quality, hats off Granit

Man Manny

Decent first team, strong bench. We should cross the line with this team.

Tankard Gooner

What’s up with Turner then?
Am actually excited about the starting 11. Probably Xhaka is going to be a bit limited going forward today, but let’s see! As far as I can see a point tonight is enough to win the group, but let’s go for the kill!

11 Bukayos

Charles Watts said he’s got a tight groin

11 Martinellis

Poor Charles, hope his groin gets better… but can I ask why Charles decided to share that info with you?

Tankard Gooner

Thanks mate! 🙂
Almost went ‘cheers Goeff!’ there 😅

Let’s sew up the group in the first half and let the subs have a go in the second. Need to keep our first team fresh for Forest on Sunday. COYG!

What is it with our players’ groin these days?

Lets get this over the line and rest everyone for the last Europa game before we play Chelsea. COYG

A sensible mix of first-teamers and subs.

Happy to see Tomiyasu got the job again of keeping Gakpo quiet.

This one has another 1-0 to the Arsenal feel about it.

Boy Bastin

It will be interesting to see how many of the first teamers on the bench get game time. If it’s anything like the first match, then most/all of them as PSV are likely to be a pretty tough proposition at home. I can see us getting the draw.

Nice strong team. Let’s keep the unbeaten run going. I hop Arteta reminds the players that a draw is good enough. No gung ho tactics needed, just a professional performance.

You OK? You’re not going to get many downvotes for sensible commnets like that…

Teryima Adi

Arteta don’t do gung ho. Yanited lesson well and truly learnt.
Measured performances yield results more often than reckless assaults.
If we don’t get the desired result today, a rotated Arsenal side can get a draw against FC Zurich.

77 on the clock and sadly no professionalism on display ?

Naked Cygan

Xhaka needs a break!

Very interesting to see how Vieira plays defensively on the right. Can he do the dirty work? Hope so.

Another couple of offsides and we will get the draw we need to top the group

You have to ask what Nketiah brings to Arsenal.
£100k a week and literally does nothing and offers nothing.
I thought Arteta was getting rid of the dead wood.
He seems to be giving dead wood new, lucrative contracts..

If we don’t play Jesus up front every single game, we don’t have any kind of threat from that position.
A top-class striker is an absolute must.

This may be (is) poor by the players but Arteta gives the impression he’s panicked with the substitutions ? Big picture Mikel !!!!

He’s not realised the players are running out of juice.

How have they run out of juice?
Half of them hardly figure in the first team.
They should be full of energy with a point to prove.
It is clear there is still some dead wood to remove in this squad. We need players who will bleed for the team.
Not players happy to pick the money up every week.
£100k a week for Nketiah is the perfect example.

Trash performance

Alan Sunderland

Trash celebration from conte yesterday spud.

Another opportunity for Nketiah.
Another nothing performance.
Still – we only have to beat Zurich at home, but it means we will need to put out more of our first team players when they could be resting.
I don’t rate Gakpo much – not a player we need at all….

PSV don’t even play their first team players. Arsenal were battered..

Pathetic. We are playing like this since the Leeds game.

Alan Sunderland

Off you go spud, should you not be whining about an offside goal on a trophy Dodgers site.
