Confirmed: Derby sign Kido Taylor-Hart & Billy Vigar on loan

Arsenal youngsters Kido Taylor-Hart and Billy Vigar have signed for Derby County on loan for the rest of the season.

The duo, 20 and 19 respectively, initially join the Rams’ under-21s (bit weird) but could get a taste of senior football should they impress.

The move represents a good opportunity for Taylor-Hart in particular to kick on after last season’s injuries.

Speaking to The Beautiful Game Podcast in September, he outlined his ambitions for the season saying: “I just want a run of games, that’s my main goal, a run of games so I can get my flow going. Under-23s, on loan, I just want a run of games.”

Taylor-Hart has made five appearances for Mehmet Ali’s under-21s this season while Vigar has made six.

Best of luck to both of them at Pride Park.

Strange. I had KTH as one who would have made a mark on the 1st team by now, even with injuries he’s had.

Oh well…

Maybe the club is confident they will be good enought for them to be on their first team? otherwise is strange af

I was unaware we had Rambo on the books. He’s gotten a bit sleeker perhaps but surely we’re unstoppable now?!

Derby can only sign freebies or loans to first team squad. I’m guessing the Vigar & Taylor-Hart have gone with the U21s to leave squad places for free agents if they need them.
