Arsenal have confirmed that academy defender Taylor Foran has joined Hartlepool on loan for the rest of the season.
The 19-year-old, a member of the touring party that trained in Dubai during the World Cup break, has featured 16 times for Mehmet Ali’s under-21s this season.
The centre back heads to the Suit Direct Stadium for a first taste of senior football at a time when Keith Curle’s Hartlepool are fighting for their Football League status.

They are currently one point above the relegation zone but have played two more matches than Gillingham below them.
If Foran wanted to learn about pressure, he’s heading to the right place.
“Your first loan spell is always a big one, and I’m excited to get started in blue and white,” he told the Hartlepool website.
“There are some great players in this group, and I can’t wait to get involved.”
Andy Capp must be excited for his local club to add an Arsenal man.
Good luck to him, he’s a good young player and it’ll be invaluable experience for him.
