Incidentally, one thing puzzling me – this is the 3rd preview pod I’ve listened to about the upcoming UWCL games, and while there seems to be general agreement about the importance of the midfield battle, alongside discussion of the relative merits of both sides’ attackers, and some insight into the Bayern defence, none of the 3 talked about the Arsenal defence at all.

Not directly relevant, but linked to the talent in the Frauen-Bundesliga, but since last season I’ve been singing the praises of Vivien Endemann of SGS Essen. She’s just signed for Wolfsburg – watch her goal against them in a 5-1 defeat last season!
