Saka in the bench. Nice to see him get a bit of a rest and Troussard and Jesus together will hopefully be exciting to watch.

Alberto Balsam Mendez Rodriguez

Apparently it’s an illness and not an injury, so nothing to worry about

Mkh

Why not a rest?

Optimist

Because it’s not, it’s an illness

XiNi

Ooooh! Saka on the bench isn’t some April fool’s joke, is it?
Still expect to get 3 points. COYG!!!

Walter White

Saka on the bench is not too good. On the other hand,
Martinelli, GJ and Trossard sounds great.

Ebo

Impacter!!!

And then you get happy flowers.

Sam

Seems odd to leave Saka out, but if he has a niggle or something it’s sensible. Hope he’s alright, he’s played so much this season and deserves the rest. Plus Martinelli, Jesus and Trossard are a great front three anyway! Would have been harsh to leave Trossard out

Okester

Watching Liverpool today, can see our awesome front players tearing them apart.
Obviously let’s beat Leeds first. One game at a time and all that…

Optimist

Makes no difference as we’ve got both Liverpool AND city to play anyway

DefaultGray

Jesus to score on his full return? I’ve just won a tenner on Liverpool doing us no favours, might roll it onto a team who can win! COYG

Nainsley Aitland Miles

Liverpool were shocking but there’s no doubt Rodri should have received a second yellow. If this match was at Anfield, he would have been off.

DefaultGray

Well, that turned out to be a smart bet, doubled my money, hope we see out the game now!

Bongogooner

A bit worried, not sure why

Nainsley Aitland Miles

The memory of Leeds hurting us in title races in 99 and 03 still haunt. Hasslebaink and Viduka if I’m not mistaken.

Giuseppe Hovno

Not right now NAM!

Anon

Always am, until we go 3 up

Nzini

You watched the city game that’s why

Valentine EKECHUKWU

Saka needs the rest BTW..

Let’s go smash them… Coyg

Agreed, a shrewd move by Mikel.

Optimist

I think he’ll be on by 60 mins as we are 0-0 still

RockyRog58

This couldn’t be much more of a massive game for us ! A win & a game less for Citeh to catch us so let’s do this boys !!! Let’s get our Ben White heads on all over the pitch !!!

Chapeau

That’s what you get for not signing the fogging contract!

Red-Wing

Sensible man- and team-management imo. Saka’s been starting basically every three days for a month and a half now so let’s give him some rest and then have him fully fresh for the rest of the season. Also takes a bit of the pressure off the young man, he’s been all over the media in recent times (rightly so). Trossard also deserves to start and it’s important we show other players that there’s always gonna be a chance for them if they come into the side and do well, even if some star player is coming back to seemingly “take… Read more »

Not sure why we expected liverpool to do us a favour today. They are a complete shower this season. No doubt they will raise their game against us in an attempt to hand the ffp cheats a title. Its all gone mysteriously quiet on their 115 charges of cheating hasn’t it? Anyway one challenge at a time, lets beat leeds today.

Badaab

Fa too busy handing out charges to us for celebrating wins

Up4GrabsNow!

Just read online that Saka backed his Benz into Mikel’s BMW at the London Colney and did £15,000 in damages. Bukayo forgot to renew his insurance and his cash is tied up with Silicon Valley Bank. Super Mik is obviously furious (taking the bus to work and all) and had no choice to bench Star Boy until paid.

All true apparently. Wait a minute… what day is today?

Nainsley Aitland Miles

Leeds going with the old 5-5-0 formation with Bamford and Rodrigo on the bench.

Petr

Interesting. I was hoping that we can start using Trossard as a back-up for Saka on the right, while ESR is a back-up for Martinelli on the left; that should work and give both Trossard and ESR some game time.

Anyway, let’s win.
